High Quality Option
We have been using this for our koi for about a year now. We first discovered it at a koi show we went to and the staff explained that their blend offers a variety that enhances the koi's color and decreased their risk of immunity problems. We are impressed with the quality and pellet size. Our koi vairy in size from 4"-20" and they are all able to easily eat. They are always eager to have it so it seems to be palatable for them! There has been minimal dust in the bottom of the bags which I appreciate as it is not waisted product for the money! Overall this is a good brand for the money spent. The cheaper options often have cheaper blends of ingredients so you get what you pay for. Read more

My koi devour it!
I have 22 koi ranging in size from fairly small to very large. I buy medium Hikari pellets and they all swarm together to gobble down every pellet. I have also used Hikari Gold (not worth the extra money) and Hikari wheat germ (spring and fall) with the same reaction. My fish are extremely healthy. What more could I want? Read more

Very happy
I use Hikari Staple and Hikari Hi Growth for our Koi . We have eight Koi , three of them are... #1 female 22/23 " #2 female 19/20" #1 male 18+/-" . Also , the females have very thick bodies !! The other five Koi are just about 12-16 inches , the females just a bit longer than the males . I will be feeding them the same diet I fed our other Koi . I'm expecting a favorable outcome with this diet . Read more
