I’ve been feeding this food since 2011, starting with a dog who had a very sensitive stomach. After a lot of trial and error, this was the only food that consistently worked for him. He stayed on it for most of his life and lived to 18. He was healthy his entire life: good teeth, normal bloodwork, active, and never dealt with chronic illness or cancer. I grew up with dogs that were fed cheaper grocery store food, and both developed cancer. I’m not saying food alone determines health, but quality nutrition clearly matters. I now feed this to my two current dogs as well. I’ve tried other higher-end brands over the years, but many have had recalls or quality issues. This food has been reliable and consistent for more than a decade. The price has gone up since I first started buying it, which isn’t ideal, but I’ve still been able to find decent deals through subscriptions and sales. The only real issue I’ve had was a Black Friday order that got canceled after long delays, which was frustrating but not related to the food itself. We absolutely love it - when I adopted her, she had extremely itchy, flaky skin with small thinning areas from her itching.
