Great price for a great Led 4k TV

I personally was a bit warry of buying the "Hisense" brand. But a good friend filled me in that Hisense is actually a well established brand in Asia and is part of the Sharp/Toshiba family. So I went ahead and went for it, and I'm glad I did. Picture quality is great, sound was surprisingly good for factory speakers. And price was amazing, by far the lowest price for a 75 inch UHD 4k Led TV. The only issue I had was connecting my Samsung Curve sound bar. It would not work via hdmi ARC. But I figured it out: My Solution: After researching what ARC (audio RETURN channel) I came to a solution. If it's a return channel then the signal doesn't necessarily have to be sent via the same channel (port 1 hdmi arc). Any audio source will be returned via ARC hdmi 1 port. I connected my Xbox one hdmi cable to Hdmi 2 port on TV. And a hdmi cable via my soundbar's hdmi ARC out port to the Tv's hdmi ARC port 1. The sound bar works as it should with TV, turns on, turns off and volume. Whenever I use my Xbox the TV is set to hdmi 2 and the sound bar works as it should with a TV ARC displayed on front. Ultimately great buy would recommend and works great. Definitely will buy Hisense again. Read more

Excellent product, great price

From beginning to end the process was flawless. The delivery for this 75 inch model was originally to take a month yet upon request and at no cost it was accelerated to ten days. The product arrived we'll packaged with no damage to the container. Extracting the panel and its setup were uber simple. I was going to buy a soundbar but after hearing the audio I found it unnecessary. The power on to an Android platform with streaming services already integrated I find preferable to a fire or roku platform. Moreover, the transfer to live cable is seamless. In short, I found the ordering, delivery, set up, mounting, picture, and sound far exceeded my expectations. Five weeks in and nothing has changed my experience. I have paid significantly more for panels having only marginally better viewing and inferior sound. I find the refresh rate, contrast, color saturation, and sound quality more than adequate for a 4k HDR panel of this size, particularly at this price. Read more

TV is good, UI is awful

I previously had a 55” Hisense with Roku built in and it was great. I use Roku on all of my TVs and find it to be the best UI. I decided since I haven’t used anything else in years (previously used the Samsung OS on their TVs, fireOS and Google all of which were slow and terrible) I would give android a try. It’s awful. It’s slow and moreover just plain does not work at times. I use a lot of Plex and trying to rewind with this OS is maddening. I hit back once to rewind 10s and instead it thrusts me ahead to some random point then I’ll move the slider to get back to where I was and it will take me back some random amount or maybe even forward. I’ve already gone to the store to get a roku stick less than a week after purchase. TL;DR: great budget TV if you use Roku with it. Read more

Run away!

Update: Google keeps adding apps that I can't remove and I thought storage was bad before, now I have very few of my own apps. And they don't always work. I have six of my own channels and Google has the rest of my tv. With its 11 apps. Starting last year, 2 years after I bought it, it began glitching, since 5 months ago it has been nearly impossible to keep the tv functioning at all. From actually never starting to having to reinstall apps like max or prime or having to warm up before I can even get a picture. I joke that I need to warm up the tv while we make popcorn...but its true. It will shut off on its own and is infuriating. Luckily I don't watch it that often, but when I want to, it doesn't always work and I'm out of luck for that day. The picture washed out 2 years after I bought it, I could go on and on. I have a Samsung in my bedroom that has lasted almost 12 years longer than this TV which is 3 years old. Waste of money over all. But, I will say this: if you want a arger screen TV that is a good picture for 1 year but no memory, and you'd like it to work for almost 3 years but with glitches, this is the tv for you. Accepts apps from Google play whether you want them or not... it has eleven of its own apps on there plus a new screen that i can't remove. Some apps like Roku channel and History Vault and others are not available, even though they are in Google Playstore for my phone. . My main complaint is the storage...it's always telling me it has run out, even when using strictly the apps it came with. I put a thumb drive in the USB slot but it won't use it. Also, there are 4 buttons on the remote that don't seem to do to anything. If I had to do again I'd get a fire tv or make sure the memory is larger...just not on a hisense tv. Update: It will update like my phone does and sometimes thats a bad thing. It also acts up like an old phone. I wouldn't recommend. In fact run as fast as you can away from it. Read more

Impressive

All my other TVs are high-end Samsungs, LGs and Sonys, I bought this TV for my workout room. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a TV where people would be slinging kettlebells and jumping around. And no, I am not going to lie and say this TV looks as good as by Samsung 9 series but, for the price it is darn good. The sound quality is very clear and you can turn it up without it getting too harsh. It doesn't have any bass, but what can you expect at this price point and from such a beautiful thin design. I especially like the Android TV interface, I found it easy-to-use and configure as compared to my other sets. And look mom no firestick needed! Extremely good picture quality, sound and looks for the money! Read more
