Machine is very good quality. We expect this to last many years. It has enough torque for anything you can want to do. You can use Hi-Smith attachments natively, and if you get an XLR adapter and the suction cup base adapter, you can mount pretty much anything you can buy out there. We also recommend the spring attachment for more versatility. The carry case is really nice. The machine assembles and disassembles easily. You do have to disassemble it in order to put it in the carry case, but that’s not a big deal. It comes with a dust cover that takes care of the motor and main body. We do wish it would go higher and lower on its stand, but that can be rectified with using other furniture, so it’s really not a big deal. The controls give you plenty of speed adjustment. One thing we did add was a longer power cord, but since this uses a standard PC style power cord, those are super easy to get in whatever length you want. Pros: Fairly quiet even on higher settings, easy to understand directions, can be assembled solo with included tools, intuitive design, ease of use, lighter than most similarly designed machines, easy to move, easy to adjust during use, variety of attachments. As the second Hismith machine that I've owned in my lifetime - I cannot say enough good things about this one! The design has certainly improved over time, but I think the stand out design adjustment is the overall weight of the machine. The best way I can describe this is industrial. Everything is heavy duty. The box it came in is seriously heavy. Assembly is fairly easy. It works very well and the app makes it a lot more convenient to control. The motor is strong as well. The attachments are all high quality as well.
