I bought these to replace the bulbs in carriage lights around my house. The work great, providing ample light. The color seems spot on and a nice warm glow that is pleasant to look at in the evening. They work well with the dimming switches. A note if you happen to have an older light control system that those systems typically send a small current to lights even when "off". If you do have one of those (like in my house -> old Lutron RA system with the central control panels in the house) you need at least 4 on a single circuit or there will not be enough resistance on the line to fully turn off the lights. That is not a problem with the bulb itself but something to know if you are swapping incandescent for LEDs. The bulbs themselves are going great and showing no signs of early failure. Read more

I like these LED 'filament' bulbs and was very excited to get them. As a handyman, I even recommended them to a client and sent them the link on Amazon after I ordered them. But unfortunately, all 3 that I installed in my room, started flickering and duding out. (They were delivered on June 29, and today is September 25th - that's only 3 months.) The bulbs were rarely used - less than an hour a day - but they were for a fan, which one could argue has some slight vibration. So they were great while they lasted. In terms of looks and light color and being decorative, 5 Stars. In terms of "durability", probably 2.5. Mine ran for 90 hours before flickering. Slightly less than the 25,000 hours it says on the box ;} (Luckily, they came 6 in a box and I only need 3, so I can get at least another 3 months out of this purchase.) UPDATE: All 6 went bad / flickering. And within a couple weeks of very little use. Not sure why, but they did not work for me. (I should take away 1-2 more stars.) The only saving grace is their customer service was very kind, and offered to refund them AND send another replacement. At the end of the day though, most of us just want some working light bulbs. Customer service can be great, but the product itself / or control and testing of the product quality can be lacking. Read more
