I have every RC crawler that Hobby Plus makes, and have been into RC since I got my Tamiya Frog on my Birthday in 1984. This is the first RC that I’ve ever had die within the first 10 seconds. I charged the battery on my Hota D6 pro charger(don’t use the factory USB plug chargers they kill LiPo’s and cause fires). Battery was good to go, this was the first Hobby Plus that needed the transmitter Bind sequence performed out of the box and it took a few times for it to actually bind, so I think the car I got may have had an issue with the combination ESC/Reciever which is made by FlySky, and even tho it’s their RTR grade electronics I’ve always had good luck with their products (the stuff you buy directly from FlySky is enthusiast grade and the stuff FlySky sells to manufacturers is a step down to reduce cost per unit). I really like Hobby Plus so it bums me out that as soon as I finish this review I’m going to start the return process and buy the Losi Micro-B, which has better aftermarket support anyway. Read more
