This is a very soft pad and is just as described. Within the 1st hour of opening it's reached full recovery thickness. The ends were very compressed, but with a little manipulation that loosened and start to fill quickly. The feel is like a pillow top. You sink in comfortably and it recovers quick. Read more
It's awesome! Great company. Ordered a 2nd one for our guest bedroom. It's very comfy and supportive. I wasn't sure if we were going to like it on top of our temper pedic but it ended up fitting on there great. It doesn't move around because I took the zipper cover on our mattress off and then put this one on there with its cover still in tact. It clings good. Good thing because the straps on the corners might not stay wrapped around rendering them useless. But our sheets fit great on there as well. They don't move or wrinkle. The mattress pad had a slight odor but I let it sit out for a whole 24 hrs before we added it to our bed. Hopefully it will last a long time before replacing it. I took a chance on this because the reviews were just ok. A lot of people said it smelled or slipped around too much. This is not like regular memory foam, it seems to be mixed with something ( probably why it can slip around which is actually true ). When I opened it up it sprang up to it’s 4” height right away. It had a very slight scent which seemed to dissipate very quickly. It doesn’t have the weight I would expect with 4” memory foam , it is so much lighter. I had no trouble putting it on the adjustable bed and it was very comfortable. I don’t think it will be giving me any real trouble. I bought two of these toppers, but I will just leave one review. I first bought one for myself, and I absolutely loved it! My brother had bought a very expensive one previously and I told him about this one. He asked me to order one for him, and when he tried it out, he immediately choose this topper over the expensive one! This topper is for you if you like softness in your mattress topper. You sink in it and it cradles softly around you with some firmness. It is thick and as described. This topper is not for you if you like very firm surface to sleep on. Shipping was quicker than expected. There is a chemical smell when you open it, but it goes away after a couple of hours. It full expands quickly. For those who have trouble with smells, I would have someone open it for you in a spare bedroom and leave it overnight. This mattress topper is a great value and well worth buying. if you’ve never owned a 4 inch memory foam I highly recommend trying this out. Not only the comfort of sleeping on a cloud it does kinda keep you from rolling around so much at night because you’re literally sync into this one, definitely cradles to your body. The 2 inches of good 3 inches hurts my body so bad but the 4 inch is literally like sleeping on clouds, and from someone that hurts all the time I highly recommend this 4 inch mattress topper.
