In my lazy old age I have welcomed laundry pick up and delivery into my home. Executing this major shift required a location both logical and convenient on my front porch to fully realize this exciting new lifestyle. The floating wall mount clothing rack worked perfectly (the sign above it is from BensSigns at Etsy*). All the components are high quality and industrially robust. You could MacGyver a tank with this thing. HELPFUL HINT Installation is straightforward and easy, though, well, it took me a minute to figure out that I’d have a much easier time if I screwed in the arm AFTER I attached the base. I have a liberal arts degree. In my defense, it was a morning installation and I hadn’t finished my coffee. Judge me if you must. I highly recommend this. These are nice and sturdy. Your limiting weight factor will most likely be how you choose to anchor them to the wall (or whatever else you might anchor them to). If you happen to be using them on a 2x4 (like I did), they pretty much go right to each edge. I experimented with using them to hang my dining room chairs when not in use and they are up to the task. I got a few types of these industrial closet rods to redo the closet I share with my spouse. I’m a fan of- some of the other types had problems but I will share on that item; this specific set of straight poles was great. You can see these on the right side of my picture. Feel very sturdy if you use your own anchors or find a stud - ours wasn’t in the right location so we bought better anchors than what comes in the package.
