This is exactly what I was looking for!
It all fit well, neatly in place! I needed a wooden knife case that will hold my kitchen knifeset in my cabinet drawer and I couldn't find one that works like this wooden case does. After vigorous searches, I bought this kitchen knifeset case because dimensions show its fitment to work nicely for me. The size is as described, and the slot count are all there and far enough apart to fit every knife. Some slots were slightly smaller than other. For those smaller spacing, I carefully wedged a shim to widen slightly as needed and submerged the unit in water for a short while and then placed it outside in the sun to dry completely. This seemed to work fine because they were moved and stayed ever so slightly apart to be perfect. The photos here illustrates how I am able to safely organize the knifesets I needed in this draw along with two knife sharpening tools that I managed to fit in as well. The steak knives stay up at the tip. However, keeping the wooden base of the unit thickness stronger with less curff cutting down into it is preferred. The knifes are all pointed faraway into the draw anyhow. If you own steak knives with wide blades, perhaps store them elsewhere or this case is not for you. Unless your draw space is deep. As for me, I am very pleased with this wooden bamboo kitchen knifeset case, and I especially recommend it to those that are looking for a specific unit ideal to their needs similar to mine. Read more

The perfect solution for organizing and storing my knives
The important part is that it fits in your drawer. In my case, it fits perfectly. My sharpener fits in the middle gap, and I have one knife that is too fat for the slots, but fits nicely in the narrow gap on the side. Read more

Handle size makes a difference in fit.
Perfect fit. Only negative could be handle size. Three large handles won't fit together on one side. But smaller knives will fit between two larger ones. Read more
