Excellent quality for a much lower price! These markers come with a pretty good range of colors and they work very smoothly. No leaking or fraying, and none have dried out yet after several months of intermittent use. Smell and bleedthrough are average for alcohol markers. The brush tips make coloring fun and easy. The only downside is that the caps can't be stuck onto the end of the marker while in use, so you have to hold onto them or set them down somewhere. That mild nuisance aside, these are a great choice for beginners like me at an unbeatable price. I wish these brush tips came in more colors. Read more
The markers are great. Colors are very close to cap covers. This is the only reason why I give the product five stars. The carrying case, however, is flimsy and has no kind of dividers inside. Don't let the photo fool you. The case gets one star only because it does hold the markers and zips. I have doubts though that the case will last very long. Read more
I purchased this set because of the price. Turns out that they are pretty good markers. They blend just as well as any other, more expensive ones. All alcohol markers bleed through most papers, these are no different. I only wish they would add hair colors to the set. Read more
Only problem I have is the lack of variety for dark skin tones, it’s about 5 darker tones and 25 light tones within the whole pack. Lots of blush tones which I like. I do like the tones that’s are provided though, they show up well on paper. Love that it comes with a fine tip pen as well! The brush nibs feel similar to copic’s, very smooth and flexible. They do bleed through paper (I have the Illo sketchbook for reference) but it does depend on your paper too, the markers didn’t bleed onto the next page. I would suggest putting a piece of copy paper between pages while you draw to avoid ink bleeding into the next page. Read more
I LOVE the brush tip because it makes blending so easy. I love the way the colors layer each other. They do bleed through the paper so be aware of that and do a few test marks before doing a final draft. Also, depending on the tooth of your paper the colors will appear lighter or darker. For instance, a glossy paper will make colors appear lighter and more washed out versus like the watercolor paper I used here that made the colors appear more vibrant and darker. Overall, wonderful set of flesh tones that layer beautifully and great for beginners too! Read more
Great markers! Color is perfect and there was not any dried out. Have used them a lot and tips have held up good. Love that there are 2 different tips to choose from. Only complaint I have is you cannot buy individual black markers in this brand and only 1 in bag. Ended up buying a different package of black markers in the middle of a project. They were not the same brand but looked same and produced the same color/quality. The bag the markers came in is great and nice quality storage. Have bought more of this brand. Read more
I love how the colors! They dry pretty quick. Will buy again. Read more
I go through a lot of skin tone. Unfortunately my go-to's are mostly earth tones, and ohuhu doesn't sell individual brush tip markers in my common colors. I bought three sets of these on a gamble and it paid off. Plenty of options for cell shaders like myself, good terminator colors. I store these facing brush down since I don't use the chisel tip, keeps them nice and juicy. I noticed the nibs do fuzz out if you go crazy, gotta be gentler than you can with Copic or ohuhu. If you are a high volume 'nude' artist with an appetite for high coverage of skin tones, this might be the way to go. I had more examples to share, but most are naughty. Read more
