This dress is so beautiful and elegant! I went with the size chart that Homeyee provided and I'm glad I did. I am 5'7" and weigh 134 pounds and normally wear a 6. I purchased a Large based on the hip and waist measurements from the chart. It fit so well! It was snug enough and comfortable. I wanted it to go below my knees but this dress layed right above them. You will have to press and tack down the bow in order for it to look neat. I simply used thread and needle and sewed the corners down and it looked lovely. Now I don't have to worry about the bow ever moving out of place. The quality and beauty of the dress is worth the little extra work, I didn't mind at all. I wore this to my daughter's 7th Birthday Surprise Tea Party and it was just right for the occasion. Everyone loved it and asked where I purchased it. I wore this to a funeral. I was afraid the bow would be too celebratory, but after trying it on it looked very appropriate. Good material, especially for the price. The material of the bow is a bit floppy, so I HIGHLY recommend pinning it like other reviews stated -- makes a world of difference! This dress was much smaller than another dresses from Homeyee. It was the same style so I know that I did not order an incorrect size. A friend who usually wears a size 2 tried on the dress and it was tight on her. The other two dresses that are size 8 and fit perfectly. I had ordered the red dress for an alumni function and went to put it on last night and was shocked to find it did not fit. Of course, I missed the window to return by one day....event was April 12th evening and return was closed early in the day of April 12. I wear a 12/14 so I ordered the XXL, as suggested. The dress is beautiful and fits well, with no room for extra weight. The arms are slightly tighter than another Homeyee dress I purchased, however it's do-able. I read everyone's reviews about the bow not laying as the stock photo depicts. I simply tacked it in place with some black thread and needle. Looks terrific. The dress is very slenderizing and of good quality for the affordable price. I will continue to buy this brand. Beautiful dress Nice material - need shaper though or bumps may show I purchased size Small it fit like a glove I used it for a funeral but if I was going to be moving alot I may have gone up to a medium. I disliked the fact that l ordered larger than l normally wear, it is very small and would not fit around my hips and it was very short waisted for a nice fit. Wish you had this in an American woman's size. It is beautiful. Read more

I returned this dress for several reasons. After reading prior reviews, which stated the dress runs very small, I ordered 2 sizes above what I would normally wear. I'm usually a size 6 or 8 in dresses, but instead of a M I ordered an XL. It was a little bigger than I hoped, especially in the waist. But I felt that a L would have been too small in the hips and bust. So fit was issue #1. But I was also surprised at the material. The dress is made out of a t-shirt type material. Much to flimsy for a dress that should have some structure. The bow was a different material than the rest of the dress, but it was also thin and would not have retained its shape. My disappointment in the fabric is issue #2 and drove my decision to return the dress versus trying the L. Read more
