I wouldn't call these loafers/shoes, since they are exactly like my husband's bedroom slippers but with a thicker sole. Regardless what one calls them, he needed a new pair and is very satisfied with these, which seem to run true-to-size. I will say they might not properly fit a wide foot, as he wears a medium width and they're comfortably snug on him (with some stretching expected over time). The hard rubber bottom is perfect for walking down our gravel driveway for the morning paper or on the outdoor deck for breakfast. Priced well, great gift for any man; I would buy again. Read more

I'm a 9 1/2 wide, this is just a little loose with no socks on, so my heel tries to raise out of the shoe when walking, but for that I can just shove my feet into my shoes in the morning without having to spoon the heel in, and I love that, it's more than worth it to me. They are warm and comfortable and not too sweaty. I like the stiff sole with the traction surface that I can walk outside with if I need to, and they are just right with a sock on, which I prefer when it is really cold. I am REALLY hard on slippers, and I think these will last for awhile. When these are done I'll be looking for another pair. Read more
