These bulbs give a clear bright white light. They have done a wonderful job of giving a nice steady light with no flickering and look wonderful in the bathroom. These bulbs go on quickly with little or no delay, and don't seem to flicker. They're bright enough in our small bathroom that I needed only two of them in an eight-bulb fixture. (I left the others screwed in but not far enough to illuminate. Two of these new ones plus a third aging LED bulb are bright enough. If all eight were lit, the effect would be blinding.) The 3000K color temperature is just right—warm in color without being overly yellowish. The bulb's surface stays cool to the touch although the base does warm up a bit. They probably deserve 5 stars, but 4 for now until I see if there are any defects that show up with extended use. Read more
