I decided this year that I wanted to start carrying a pocket lighter; sadly I've gone through several in this $15-$25 range and been disappointed by all of them -- except this one. I bought my first Honest lighter (this model) in the spring, and it still performs perfectly, despite drops and consistent use. I love the fuel-filler window, and it's the easiest lighter to fill that I've ever owned (and we're going back decades). Plus, the design is novel and it is an overall eye-catcher. My only disappointment is that it doesn't fit well in my jeans pocket, and I'm a little skeptical of carrying it in my pocket because of the way the trigger works. That having been said, it's become a go-to table lighter in my house, and it's good for everything from lighting a pipe to lighting scented candles in tall jars. I've enjoyed the first one so much that I just purchased this second one, and thus far the quality seems to be equal. Overall, I'd recommend this lighter in a heartbeat. Read more

This lighter was far beyond my expectations. It works great and feels very well made. The one thing you need to know is the lighter needs to have an adapter to fill with butane. It does not come filled. I was fortunate that I bought a Neon brand butane, sold on Amazon, that came with the adapter built into the cap. Amazon also sells the adapters, but it is less expensive to just by the butane with the adapter included. The lighter has good weight and has a fairly light trigger. The flame is easily adjusted without any tools. I bought one for my wife and ordered an additional one as soon as I tried hers. I have had this a few months and have had no issues at all. It is the best lighter I have owned, and I have spent significantly more for other lighters. I would absolutely buy this again. Read more
Looks nice and it is well built but my only beef with it is re-filling it. I’ve tried refilling it with different brands and I don’t know if that’s how is supposed to be but when refilling it ? I takes forever to fill the unit not sure why as the last small pencil type torch I had filled right up easily for years until the starter died. Read more
Works very well, lights on first strike most of the time, and always by 2nd strike if it misses the first. Tank is large and easy to see. Easy to use, flame can be adjusted. Would purchase again. Good value. Read more
The pic shows 3 Honest brand lighters. I purchased them all here within hours of each other. The quality, fit and finish, heft, and uniqueness of design won me over. My only concern is that most of the components inside are plastic. So. Although it works well, like a Dunhill, looks good, like a S.T.Dupont, even maybe as good as a Vector Lighter...they aren't gonna be heirloom quality. Which means good enough to use a lot and still work, or have lifetime warranties, as all the above do. Nonetheless, these Honest lighters are very much good enough to use and carry with style, if not Penache. But don't fidget with these guys cause they will wear out and plastic don't fix . But for a 10th of the cost of a lesser Dunhill, every one's a winner. Read more
