I love this thing! I know I’m old now because I’m excited by things like this! lol it’s incredibly sturdy when the bottom legs are spread out correctly. The other day I put a bundle of heavy wet denim on one of the ends while I hung them, there was nothing on the other end, and it didn’t tip even a bit. It has a small enough foot print to be able to use it on my balcony and then I can fold it up and store it next to my machine. I would look closely at the measurements when folded as it is kind of tall. It is so practical and I can hang so many garments on this in between using hangers and the poles on it. I’ve also used the flat area underneath for pillows and delicate sweaters. I haven’t used the shoe area yet, but it doesn’t take up useful space so I’m okay with it. It requires no assembly, but I did have to like push one of the little bottom poles in place, which I am sure is essential for it not to tip . I cannot recommend this enough! Purchased two of these because they were so great - one for me and one for my parents after I told them how great it was. And how can a clothes drying rack be so great you might ask? Especially since it costs a little more than some other clothes racks that are cheaper? The first advantage of this is that it saves you electricity and helps the environment. You can put a small load of clothes on it to dry overnight and usually by the next day they are dry. This extends the life of the clothes as well, saving you even more money. They are also great if you dry a load and have some items that are still a little wet, just throw them on the rack. I even do it if I am in the rain - can put my shoes and coat on it to dry faster. I am in the military and is especially good for my uniform - my boots can dry if its wet and my uniform dries well overnight after washing it. Even better, since it is not beat up in the dryer I really don't have to inspect it for loose strings and tears that can make you look unprofessional in uniform. In addition, it is really good for dress clothes. I just wash them and then hang them on there to dry. My parents also like it because when they wash the dog bed, toys and leashes, they all dry well overnight on the rack. Why is it better than cheaper clothes racks? First, it really utilizes the space available on it very well. There is an area to put shoes, and area to put stuff in the center, and plenty of space to put stuff on the main racks. The media could not be loaded. My house laundry does not have a dryer so I have to dry my clothes in the open air. After searching on the Amazon app, I bought this hanger and it was almost assembled when I got it. I just had to install two wings to hold the wings, which was not difficult. This hanger is very light and this point make it a little bit unstable if you can not balance the clothes on it. One of the advantages of this hanger is that it has a large number of holding rows on which I can hang a lot of clothes. In this way, if heavy clothing is on one side, it will be easily overturned. Or even if be careful about the weight distribution, if there is heavy clothing or a wet blanket on it, it is prone to overturning. Compare to its price it’s strength is acceptable. My dryer was shrinking my husbands work pants so I decided to start line drying them, however I had no where to hang a line for clothes so I tried this. It works really well! It folds up nicely when not being used so I just leave it against the wall in my garage. When opened it holds a ton of shirts, a few pants, and all of his socks. I have used this more times than I can count and it seems to be holding up pretty well so far. Has never fallen over even in crazy wind. Read more
