I had another LED desk lamp from a very popular maker, and it was great for several years. Ordered this Honeywell when I needed an additional lamp, and hesitated due to the price. No regrets! So far, I really like this lamp. It's easy to use and the different settings are very useful. I love the night light. It's a great weight and a good size and shape to fit on my desk. Wow, what an outstanding light. Purchased it provide some quality light to my garage workstation. This fit that requirement perfectly. Had to accommodate an area with overhead shelves, no taller than 21". This light fit perfectly, and with flexible arm and head I was able to direct light to where I needed it. I really like the features of this lamp. It seems solid and well thought out for the price. The flip side of the bright light disk is a muted light disk (I don't know what the right name for it would be) that is perfect for using alongside my other lights for video conferencing. This lamp is spectacular for video calls, it is easy to use, great CRI and it is bright enough to be a solo video call lamp. It also is good as a normal lamp for reading and such, but the way it's structured it is clearly intended for multiple use cases. Read more

Pros: Completely multifunctional with different hues for different needs; Great aesthetics; Arm design ensures light where I need it without sacrificing space on the desk. Cons: Brightest option is still not quite bright enough nor covering enough; Needs a little more weight at the base. While the lamp looks great and is quality made, it is very targeted with the light, which I assume has to be the "Eye-Caring" design. That's great if you're only working under the light, but it becomes noticeably dimmer the further away you move, even 6" back. However, if you're working late at night and someone is sleeping nearby, that's a bonus! So not exactly all that I hoped, but a quality product that with a little more weight in the base and a little wider field of light option (I say option because I can see the focused need as much as my wider view need), this would have been 5 starrs.
