This little table ended up exceeding my expectations in every way. It arrived swiftly and well-packaged. Everything needed to assemble it was included and the instructions were clear. It's attractive, especially for the price. It is also just so dang versatile. Honestly, I could use a few of these around the house. This one is being used as a side table for a chair that is next to a bed. I keep one side up, creating a small wall that protects the bed should I have a coffee spill...and it also keeps the cats from venturing onto the table. When both are closed, the seam is smooth and perfectly flat. It ended up being the perfect height for creating a sort of lap table, also. It is sturdy and well-made. This little table is great for the side of the couch and slides underneath easily. We use it for remotes and drinks. The smaller middle shelf is perfect for a box of tissues. It was easy to assemble and easily unfolds/folds to your preferred size. Finger prints do show up easily, but if you're used to this kind of black furniture, you know how it goes. Read more

I was looking for something to put my laptop on. Sometimes when I work late into the evenings I don't want to be sitting at my desk so this is perfect for next to the couch. I wanted this table because of its versatility, as well as the marble top. I wasn't happy with the gold color because it didn't match my decor, however I was willing to try it anyway. When I opened the box and actually saw what was described as "gold" was actually a hideous drab mustard color🤢. Not only it didnt go with my decor, the color itself was ugly and definitely was not properly coordinated with the white, grey & black marble top. As the pictures shows I painted the legs black and also painted the bottom & top pieces grey. I also painted the screws to coordinate with pieces it coordinated with. This color combination is something the manufacturer should consider going forward. The grey frame that attached to the top marble is much more esthetically pleasing with the chrome hinges. (Why would one put chrome hinges with a "gold" frame? Not a well developed color scheme!) I am very pleased that it is tall enough that I can sit on my couch and actually get my knees underneath the table. I am also pleased that I can open the top fully, just partially or not at all.
