Hooever Womens Cotton Linen Pants Casual Button Up High Waisted Wide Leg Trousers

I received the pants and tried them on. I had to go run an errand and kept them on straight out of the package wrinkles and all!! Linen will naturally wrinkle and it fell out beautifully and fit me perfectly. Fitted at the waist because of the elastic at the back, just the correct amount of room through the tummy area to look classy and lovely wide legs that barely touched my thighs. It is lightweight and yes….the white is see through, so you can see the pockets in the front, but I expected that. White linen will always be see through unless it is lined, but I live in the tropics and did not want a lined pair of linen pants. Wearing nude thongs was fine. Do not go by the picture of the white, as it is does not show how see through it is. For reference I am 5’2” about 120 lbs , athletic build and always wear heigh wedges or sandals so it was the perfect length for me. It would be too long if I wore them with flats. I was so impressed with these pair of pants for the price, I am immediately ordering another pair. This can be easily worn casually or dressed up. These will be hand washed and hung to dry as per instructions. This cotton/linen blend has the look of linen without the scratchiness and stiffness of pure linen. Lovely combination. Omg I loooooove these pants!! I bought them for a trip to Europe this summer and it was probably my favorite pants to wear for the entire trip. So comfortable during hours of walking in the sun, flowy and chic, could be dressed up or down. Great for the plane as well because they were so comfortable I could sleep in them on the flights. They are definitely a little sheer as most linen pants are so match undergarments to your skin tone if that’s a concern. Machine washable which is fantastic. The only drawback is that they need to be ironed to get the proper length but that’s most linen pants. The quality is great, even after miles of walking, no snags, tears or loose threads. I liked the colour and the fact that the elastic was only at the back with a button and fly front. The fabric is not particularly soft but not too scratchy either but the weight was nice. The khaki was not sheer if wearing the appropriate colour under garments. According to the sizing, I was concerned that they might not fit but they fit well, the elastic allowing the waist to fit snugly without being tight and the legs not being enormous. The problem was with the length, they were too short. The were like high waters on me (I'm 5'5 and normally take about a 30" inseam) These were supposed to be 29.92" inseam but they were shorter than that. I am sure that they would have shrunk in the wash even in cold. I wish manufacturers would pre-shrink their fabrics or offer different inseams. In addition the hem was poorly sewn; where the hem was folded up the fabric was twisted on both legs so there were ripples. Read more

The fit is nice, I’m 5’6 140p and usually wear a medium and in this case, chose a medium- just right at the waist and flowy pant legs but can’t give 5/5 because the material is just odd. After a couple of washes, It reminds me of terry cloth material. It’s not the finest material and probably can’t dress these up but if you want something affordable and casual, these will work short term. Read more
