According to hookah "experts," the ceramic bowl is better than the rubber ones. I smoke hookah every now and then and can definitely say that I don't notice any sort of taste difference, or longevity when using these compared to the rubber bowls. I will say that these ceramic bowls have a very small area to hold the shisha, and the hole in the middle creates an opening for shisha to fall through when filling it up. Plus, one has already broken because, unlike rubber, it's ceramic. I currently switched back to the rubber ones, and most importantly, at least with the rubber one, I can fill up the shisha halfway. With these, the shisha will burn onto the metal piece that holds the coal and becomes a huge pain to remove when cleaning. Read more
