As a coal holder, this is working fairly well, but with issues... First off, the coal holder pictured in the main & half of the other pictures show a grate with a raised lip for easy removal. They also show a series of holes in the base for providing good oxygen to the burning coals. The coal holder that I received features neither of these things. I got a completely flat grate & a base with not one single hole, let alone a series of them. Other than those strange mismatches...the coal holder that I received has several dings, scratches & marks on several areas of the visible outer base. Almost looks used, but probably just banged around alot prior to me getting it. The handle & tongs holder are made of an extremely soft metal. So soft, that when I opened it, the tongs holder was smushed almost flat against the handle. I was able to squeeze my finger in there enough from the underside & “unfold” the metal away from the handle with little effort. So I “fixed” it, but have no confidence in how excessively soft it is & hold no hopes that it can endure regular use, no less as a device that is intended to be used with flames & very hot coals. All in all, I’m not very pleased with the lack of durability & mismatched features & pictures to what I actually received. Cannot recommend this one. Read more
