In college, I was the one stuck puffing until the hookah was rolling, then everyone else finally joined in. As an adult, I don't have the time, energy, or friends to do that. This device is a lung saver. It's just a little fan, and it's easy to hook up, but it makes sessions much more enjoyable. I thought the LED light was dumb until smoke started rolling through the fan, when the LED makes the flowing smoke look super cool. The only issue that I have with it is that it can burn the shisha instead of cook it because it sucks so much, making the coals really hot. I haven't quite figured that out yet. This comes with the pump and it has a silicone attachment for the hose that fits in the backside of the unit with a twist. This is small enough to fit in your hand. It is great for getting your hookah started. In use, you simply attach this to the end of your hose where your mouthpiece would go and you turn it on and it primes the hookah for you. Anybody that is a hookah user hates the beginning of starting a hookah up. The priming can put you out of breath before you even get started. This hookah starter will get it going for you and draws enough air to get the coals to heat up your shisha. This will burn through your shisha a lot faster if you leave it running so I would suggest to get it going really well and then take it off. It's also a lot of fun to have the lights on the starter in the dark. This does a great job at saving my lungs from having to prime my hookah every time I use it. This is made from plastic and is wireless. You charge it through a usb port underneath a silicone tab on the face. You can change the color of the lights and this is very easy to use. I feel like this is a must have for any serious hookah user. The value on this is pretty good if you're going to use it. This is a bit of a novelty item when it comes to hookah and each person will find its own value. For me, I feel like this is worth it and if you enjoy hookah you will enjoy this. Overall this is a very effective tool at getting your hookah started. It is also very fun to use and has a visual factor that comes into play. I use this hookah pump to get the session started and throughout to keep it going. I aim the exhaust to blow air at the coal to heat them up and I use the intake to have the device suck through the hose. Exhausting the first pulls makes it better because as the coals are getting started, less byproducts get inhaled. When the coals reduce in size and start to ash, I repeat the process - blow air at them and exhaust the fumes through the device. Essentially this is a mini vacuum that has a small fan to create suction. All of my hoses fit in the silicone insert, the battery lasts a good amount of time, and I like that the colors can be changed.
