I've been smoking hookah since 2006. I've owned a variety of hookahs. But they all have the same design flaw. A round bottom that easily tips over. Beautiful, but dangerous. I've ruined many a hardwood floor with charcoal burns. When I found this square bottom, I bought it immediately. It's a great hookah. The light mechanism is a cute added bonus, however after 1 week it stopped working. If the manufacturer is reading this, can you mail me another light? The remote works, but the light doesn't. It's fine, I just wish the hole on the top (when its open) was bigger so it'd be easier to clean; also there should really be a single hose version. I know you can make it act as a single hose by removing the bead from one of the hose stems but seriously, it should be optional to have 2 hose stems not standard. Other then those 2 problems its great; as I said it can be converted to a single hose and it is easier to clean then most hookahs, though fair warning be careful when cleaning as the adhesive holding in the hose stems is very weak. I bought this to replace my small glass and ceramic hookah. What a mistake! We have had many hookahs, and this was by far the worst. DO NOT BUY at any PRICE. If you are a starter, do more research and avoid plastic products like this that were just... 1. The heard, not ceramic. It's plastic. If charcoal touches it, it will melt. This brings up the question of how safe it is to breathe the vapor going through it 2. The charcoal holder is aluminum and ultra-hard to clean. Additionally, the cover gets stuck, and when it's hot, it's impossible to take it off to replace the charcoal without burning yourself 3. The plastic box is tough to clean, just like others have mentioned 4. Very little space for tobacco and very bad airflow through the head. This unit was designed to look good and not to FUNCTION properly. Read more
