Outstanding open world game
I loved playing BOTW on the switch and have been desperately looking for a game in a similar open world style. Horizon was my first game that has that hyper realism style and it really works with the story and gameplay. Aloy’s character is a humble badass heroine and the storyline is engaging and super interesting. The combat against the machines is tough but very rewarding. The progression helps unlock different fighting abilities and weapons and exploring this beautiful but dangerous world really is immersive. I would tell myself that I was only going to play for a couple of hours only to realize that it was 6 hours later! There are great side quests, sunken caverns, and rebel camps to clear with some awesome sharpshoot bows. I wholeheartedly recommend this game if you have a PS5 and are trying to fill the BOTW void.
