We bought these as a gift for my 95 year old father-in-law and he really loves them. He has a tough time in the winter because he is always cold, and he says his hands are the worst. He is happy about being able to carry a hand warmer with him. These have 4 levels of heat, ranging from 104 to 131 degrees. They heat up quickly and the battery life is said to last 20 hours before recharging (although we never have had these on that long), but that depends on the heat level you select. Recharging takes about 3 hours total. The handwarmers have a display on the front that shows both the battery life and the temperature setting. The handwarmers are packaged in a nice gift box, which includes a nice USB-C Y cable that charges both handwarmers at the same time. This is great because you don't have to run 2 chargers.
