I bought this suitcase because it looked sturdy and had a zipper-free closure, which I really liked. I expected it to be long-term luggage, but it didn’t even survive one trip. After only six days and two flights (California → Mexico → California), the entire suitcase came back damaged beyond use. One wheel completely fell off, leaving just the metal rod exposed (photos attached). All of the metal corner protectors are scratched, dented, bent, and gouged, and the body has multiple dents. I even used a luggage belt, but the materials are just too weak. This is not normal airline wear and tear — this is just poor construction. It’s basically thin plastic with metal corner pieces that can’t withstand standard baggage handling. For luggage that costs over $200, it should last more than one trip. I returned it exactly as it came off the baggage carousel. Very disappointed and would not recommend if you need something durable. Read more
It was a gift to my granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it! It has lots of compartments and a shiny, contemporary outer appearance. The locks are unique, very secure but easy to operate.
