I ordered this hoping to use it as a dress and it is PERFECT! Well, for me based on size and my height/proportions. I am 5'3, 130 lbs and ordered a small. I have average legs, average torso, so while it is short on me, it worked perfectly as a mini dress. (I just took care how I bent down if needed..lol) Fabric is SOFT, medium weight but not at all hot, very well constructed, not at all see-through. Have washed them all 2-3 times already (gentle cycle, hung dry), they still look brand new. The deep V on the back and bead detailing is also a nice touch. As other reviewers have said, where the draw-string to tie it is below the waist line, it still worked well for me and was very flattering on me regardless. I loved it so much I also bought in black, dark navy blue and the black dot. I LOVE these! Wore them all on a February trip to Maui and got tons of compliments! Buy a coordinating ruana, boho cover up or light sweater and it gets even more versatile! All four colors I received are exactly the same size, cut and fabric. I love the color. It is a medium coral. I ordered a medium. I weigh 149 and am 5’4”. The fit is perfect. Not too tight or loose. It has a drawstring waist that you can adjust. Fit true to size. I am 5'9 and middle aged, and it is very short on me, but I don't mind as I am using it as a swim coverup. Due to the shortness on me, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable enough wearing it as as dress. If you are shorter (and younger), the material definately would allow it to be worn that way. The royal blue color was very vibrant and beautiful. It had a beachy feel to it. In additon to the blue, I also ordered a white one, and it was very shear and I didn't like seeing my entire swimsuit underneath it, so I returned it. I would definately order it in some of the other darker colors though. The gathering at the waist flattering and allows for you to tighter or loosen the dress to fit to your liking. Read more
This is absolutely adorable! I’m 5’4” roughly 140 lbs, 36d and I got a medium. I’m going to keep it but wear it as a summer dress. It fits but I couldn’t eat a real big meal if you know what I mean or wear a swimsuit under it. I bought a large in the red and waiting for it to come in. It’s a great beach cover up and a cute dress but I’d go one size bigger if you have a chest. The pluses- love the cap sleeves, hides that little flab under your arms if you got it. Gives you a waist if you don’t have one, v-neck that elongated the body and minimizes big chests AND it’s not see through. No negatives! Read more
The fabric on this is a little stiff for my taste, but it's a cute cover up and I think the patterning is unusual in a good way. The bead along the back strap is a nice touch and the tie waste allows for adjustments to many body types. It washed up great - no wrinkles! It's quite low cut, but I use it as a swim cover and it works well with my suit underneath. It's not sheer at all and I'm 4'11" and the medium hits well above the knee so this may be quite short on taller gals. Read more
