BUYER BEWARE.....This scooter is absolute JUNK. My sone who is attending college bought it to commute to college classes because it has a removable battery and is small enough to put in the trunk of his car. Being a college student funds are tight and this was with in his price range. It arrived early and was easy to assemble, just had to screw the handle bars on. He removed the battery charged it over night and the next day went to power scooter on and NOTHING, we thought ok maybe there is a trick, so we hey googled it and tried every trick out there and nothing. Amazon was amazing and refunded his money and told him to keep the scooter. So what the hell let's email the company. Let me tell you absolutely no help what so ever. Just the go around with questions and video request and told to send it back to Amazon. Says they have factory warranty but they wont honor it. Well since its no loss to my son we took it apart to check all the wires make sure they were plugged in and tested the battery and the whole nine yards and here's what we found. Half the solder points on circuit boards are not soldered, so no connection, battery pack is corroded, tires are flat and battery dont lock in properly. So if I could give it a -10 I would. Simply based on crap workmanship and crap customer service. I just wanna give every one the heads up before they spend $200 -$700 on a product the company won't stand behind.. kudos to amazon though for helping a college kid out. Read more

Great great scooter for the money. It has front shocks and air tires which makes it very smooth on rough city roads and sidewalks. The battery lasts for a very long time on a full charge. The build quality is very sturdy and well built. Im a 240 plus pound person and it still runs very smooth and fast. Speeds up to 24 mph with me on it. Cant beat the price for this type electric scooter. Plus you can just simply remove the battery from the scooter with a key and charge it at home instread of taking the whole scooter with you. Great scooter and well built. Read more

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present December 2024. We just now decided to open and give it a go. The battery says it’s fully charged but we can not get it to turn on at all. I can’t find any videos about this scooter to tell me what is wrong. I don’t recommend you buy this at all. I’m stuck now with an expensive scooter that doesn’t work at all. Read more

Great deal for a 500w scooter. So far no issues. Good power uphill. Im over 200lbs and this has been a dream to escape the late summer heat. Read more

I've used this scooter for over a year now. The build quality is very suspect. The clip that holds the front bar broke off after only 2 weeks. The drum brake on the front wheel is awful and doesn't even work at this point. The rear wheel leaked air and went completely flat after only a month of use. The battery doesn't last near as long as estimated. For the price I paid ($700+) when this was new, I expected much higher build quality. Next time, I'm going witha different company for my electric scooter needs. Read more

I'm not sure what to say about this scooter other than I've either had horrible luck or the product just isn't worth your money - even on sale. I've used it for 3 rides total. The first ride was great and I was riding around enjoying myself quite a bit. I had mostly been not caring about battery levels but last I checked it was around 50-60% and a little while later the scooter just went dead but I chalked it up to just not noticing. After charging it up I kept a lot better track of the levels on the next ride and once it got close to 40% the same thing happened and the scooter shut down. Ok, must be a faulty battery so I plan to get it replaced through warranty. I figure in the meanwhile I can still use it at 60% capacity and took it out again and then in the middle of my ride the back tire goes completely flat. I checked it over as thoroughly as I could and there seems to be no puncture point at all and so I'm at a complete loss now. The other issue i seemed to experience is that the scooter drops to like half speed at ANY form of incline and really struggles to move. My assumption is this is a result of the battery having so many faulty cells but who knows. I've owned it for less than a week and this many issues seem like too many signs that I should just return it and get something else. I haven't really decided what I plan to do but figured I would relay my experience for anyone else thinking about buying the scooter. I will leave a final note and say if the scooter had just worked without issue it would have been an amazing value. As it is, I feel like I need to just spend more money and not gamble on deals - unfortunately, I assumed Hover-1 being an actual brand would be enough to guarantee a good product. Read more

They advertise as 264 pounds max weight but the box it came in said 240 pounds. More importantly I drove it for 2 miles straight and it shut off on me. Took battery out and put it back in and it turned back on. Will only go about 200 feet before shutting off again. Might be something loose or maybe I overloaded it because I'm more then 240 pounds. Will update review once I try and get it fixed or get it replaced or something. Read more

Right handle bar is reverse threaded, makes assembly problematic and this is not clear in the assembly instructions. Read more
