I purchased this for my son for Christmas he rode it twice before it completely stopped working. You can’t call hover 1 so I submitted and email ticket and they of course just never respond. Very disappointing customer service and quality Read more

The media could not be loaded. This scooter is right for me! As you may see on the video there is another giant scooter (my husband's) which I can't even lift nor maneuver as much. The Hover-1 is much easier for me to use and I can even lift and carry it! It may not be as sturdy but it's definitely more manageable. It's very fast and fit for beginners such as myself. Read more

This scooter is very fun to use. Charges quickly and goes a good amount of time on a single charge. Made A great present for my young adult son. I feel it would be good for older adolescent children as well. Sturdy and well built. Read more

Pros: 250W Brushless Motor Up to 9 Mile Range 15 MPH Max 3 Speed Modes Foldable Buit-In Bluetooth Wireless Speaker LED Headlight UL Certified Cruise Control Electric Handlebar Brake Mechanical Manual Brake (On Rear Wheel) 20 Degree Incline Capability Kick Stand Cons: Push to Start Readout Impossible To See During The Day T Handle Has Not Height Adjustment No Cruise Control What I received in the package: 1 x HOVER-1 Highlander Foldable Electric Scooter 1 x Power Adapter 2 x Hex Wrenches 1 x Quick Start Guide 2 x Handles 1 x Operation Manual This HOVER-1 Highlander Foldable Electric Scooter product has a 250W brushless motor and a 36V rechargeable Lithium-Ion power pack. It weighs in at about 14 lbs. It is foldable and portable. First things first, this is NOT for small children. This is a real electric vehicle that can move fast and cause you serious harm is you are not prepared to ride it properly. The speed modes breakdown as follows: ECO - Up to 7 MPH NORMAL - Up to 11 MPH SPORT - Up to 15 MPH In testing, I have to say that I have had a blast riding this so far. It is more exercise than I was expecting. It doesn’t have much climbing power so you have to ride it much like a normal scooter until the terrain is relatively flat. Compared to a rental type scooter that you can acquire in most large cities these days, this will give them a run for their money. On even surface it does provide you with a smooth steady ride that is safe and consistent. As far as performance goes, it works quite well on flatter terrain. But the torque ratio does not allow it to make much of a hill at all. That is to be expected in my opinion. While you are able to adjust your speed, obviously the faster you are traveling the further you will be able to travel up an incline. I test rode this for a week and I am impressed with the results. I went in to work for my 1 week a month. I would ride from the hotel to work and the plug it in and ride home. The scooter starts after you get it up to about 3 mph, then you hit the throttle and it will ease up to speed in ECO & NORMAL mode. But in SPORT mode be prepared to hang on. It will bolt up to speed and stay there. The ride is okay and the only issue I had is with the kick stand. When you are going over anything bumpy it rattles and not just a little. It is loud and annoying. So I ended up fitting a piece of thick shrink wrap around it and that has helped. May need to find something else though like neoprene that is soft but absorbs the shock of the ride as well. The manual braking is smooth, even and safe, but does require some effort. The electric brakes are very touchy and don’t just seem to slow you down. But clamp down and could throw you if you were going fast enough. I recommend feathering the brake if you are going to use it. As cruising speed, I don’t trust it. So I really don’t use it as much as I thought I would because I don’t want to chance getting thrown off balance and hurting myself. The handling is relatively smooth and the deck is just long and wide enough to be comfortable. The T-Handle is sturdy but it does not have a height adjustment. So this vehicle is strictly for adults. The scooter is nimble enough to juke around bikers and pedestrians when confronted with a situation warranting such action. The scooter folds down and is easy to carry and is compact enough to pull out of the way at the office and at home. It has 6 1/2” hard plastic wheels which make for a decent ride but rubber tires would allow to you adjust the air to your preference. But only the positive side you don’t have to worry about flats. The product specs report this has a max weight limit of 264 lbs. I am 185 lbs and it handles my weight without any issues. The scooter has an Integrated Bluetooth speaker while you can use to play music of your choice, etc. The scooter has a quick release button at the base of the T-Handle. It is easy to use and operate. The 26-Page Operation Manual is only in English. The first 13 pages are all warnings & cautions with a couple pages for maintenance. Then 7 pages for specs and general operation. Followed by more warnings on the remaining pages. The only complaint I have is in the product information it reports this has cruise control. But the Operation Manual doesn’t mention it at all. I would take a star off. But this is still such a great ride. I would have to give it back for that. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, this is the perfect vehicle for short commutes. It electric so it is ECO-friendly with a range of 9 miles on a full charge. It has been fun for all the adults in the family. Everyone loves it. If you have the terrain to ride it as a daily it will save you so much money. Hope this information was helpful. [5 Stars] Read more

Hover-1 and their parent company The DGL Group will not stand by their products and they will break and cause injury. I purchased my scooter November 2021 and feel the need to share my story. My daughter had received it for Christmas and maybe rode it ~5 times before the front wheel assembly came apart. I attempted to contact Hover-1 who refused to help. So I researched and found that the DGL Group is the parent group out of New Jersey. After filing multiple complaint with the company and being told that they would not help, they forced my hand and got the govt involved. I contacted the BBB, The Consumer Protection Agency, and the Product Safety Commission. I've read their reviews online and through various sites and throughout the reviews... numerous complaints of safety, product failures, customer service complaints, and employee complaints are prevalent. This isn't a company you should want to deal with. Usually companies find reasons to help their customers, this company finds reasons to not help. ***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** I would suggest buying something more reliable that doesn't have this piss poor track record like they do.
