Super fun Christmas gift for some grown up boys in my family. Had a blast drifting them around my living room’s hardwood floors! Came with two sets of tires, one rubber, one plastic. Car is fast with rubber wheels, drifts like crazy on the plastic. Undriveable when mixing the tires. Two batteries last a long time. They are a little noisy and bothered the dog. At under $25, this is an excellent indoor drifter for tile and low-pile carpet! Keep your expectations in check and you won't be disappointed. This is a toy grade RC. Do not expect precision engineering and pro tier materials. That said, it's a blast and a great learner model for kids who are interested in RC. It DOES NOT have either proportional steering or proportional throttle. Its all or nothing. But for the target audience and 1/24 scale, it is perfectly acceptable. It has 2 speed settings, Hi and Low. Pulling drifts is easy on both settings. On Hi speed, drifts are sharp and squirrelly. On Low speed, drifts are wider and easier to correct. Both speeds can pull donuts. Tape a few coins to the body if you want to experiment with weight distribution. Great way to teach kids basic physics. The included batteries last a very long time, especially on Low speed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS. Read more
