This is a beast of a charger, and – at least for my needs – has way more oomph than I expect to ever need. Just using it to jumpstart a regular car barely even gets this thing out of bed, so I can imagine that it’s able to charge up the big guys that it claims to. Using it for a regular car barely knocks the battery down, so you can expect to be able to use it a lot of times if you’re just charging a regular vehicle. Even once you run it down, though, it charges back up surprisingly fast. It’s easy to use and the instructions are adequate. As others have mentioned, it does not come with a case, although the box packaging is pretty nice. I don’t really like to have it in the box, though, because it slides around in the back of the car. So I repurposed another storage case to hold it. Paying this much money, though, you really shouldn’t have to be finding another case. It would be easy enough for them to include one with the charger. But that’s really my only complaint. Otherwise, this unit is easy to use, easy to read, and works great. Read more

WOW, you know the saying "You get what you pay for?", well this jump charger is an example of that exact phrase. Upon receiving, just the weight and size alone, I knew this one was different from prevous jump chargers I've used. Once unboxed, it comes with the unit itself, alligator clips, 12V socket adapter, usb cable, and an extra cap for the accessories port. It does not come with a case, however I ordered the geniune Hulkman hard case for the Alpha 100/Alpha Max and it fit perfectly! With that said I was looking to really try it so that I know if it will work in an emergency situation. I have an older Dodge Ram 1500 that I don't use that often, but has a HEMI engine which is difficult to turn over if the battery is low, so I purposely disconnected the solar charger and let the battery drain with an accessory helping. I hooked up my battery charger and it showed 20% charge so I decided it was time to try it. When I hooked up the Hulkman jump charger to the battery, it instantly turned on and showed 100% on the unit itself. As I was trying to get a good picture for this review, I realized other chargers would have timed out the connection to the battery after 15 or 30 seconds, this one did not... a PLUS already as that meant when I really need it, I won't have to hurry to get to the ignition to start it as 15-30 seconds can be VERY quick, especially if you have a dead battery that needs some cranking to turn over on a big engine. Anyway, to my suprise, I turned the key and the engine kicked over lightning fast, in fact it was as if the installed battery was at 100%, which I've never whitenessed jumping that engine on low battery before. I then got out and disconnected the jump charger, and it still showed 97% avail... I was VERY impressed to say the least. I brought it inside, hooked it up to the usb-c charger to top it off, which was done within an hour and put that unit back in the case and into the truck for the next time I need it. I'd say, this is probably the nicest, well-built jump charger I've ever used and the capacity is monsterous compared to others, as other jump chargers would have taken several cranks/attempts on that engine, resulting in 60% or less charge after getting the engine to kick over... this unit made it effortless!
