Seems nice and sharp. Very pretty looking. Wish the box it came in hadn’t come smashed , that part didn’t look as nice when giving it as a gift. But overall seems like a good heavy knife. Read more
Very good knife. And I’m impressed so far. I waited a month so I can use and see if it is really as described. My AI bot said it was cheap junk, but I’d have to disagree from my experience so far. I do not know in 5 years if my opinion will be the same but I have used the Huusk now for a month or more and it has lived up to its billing up to this point. It has not gone dull yet at all. I’d say it is not “razor” sharp but it does slice thru paper like in the ad and meat must beware. It works really well. Even frozen meat is easy to chop/cut. I don’t like the curved blade. I was used to a flat(ter) one (chef’s knife) which contacted the cutting board more. The curved blade doesn’t contact the board enough so it needs to be moved against the cutting board in order to completely cut. This is my reasoning for 4 stars. I must move the blade in/out to completely slice things such as meat or onions or some strings will remain that will hold two cut pieces together. Cutting is easy (it’s sharp) but it takes more effort due to the curved blade. I think this company or Masato has a different style knife how I’d like but they really have pushed this particular knife instead of offering other varieties/styles. I have not found any use for the finger hole. The weight, length and balance seem to be right…or I simply am not picky on that. My focus is on cutting. The knife came in a nice box. Confused: is it Viking or Japanese? Both terms are used to describe this knife depending on the ad. Read more
Love this knife! Over and over again I've bought kitchen knives supposedly useful for everything and have been disappointed. This thing is great. Very sharp and seems to be holding it's edge. Slices fruits, vegetables and meat, all with ease. I never actually put it away. I use it, wash it and just leave it in the sink strainer for the next use. It may be a little large or awkward for some people, but I love it. Read more
I was immediately impressed by the razor-sharp blades—these knives slice through meat and vegetables effortlessly. The hand-forged craftsmanship and natural wood handles give them a premium, rustic feel that looks great in my kitchen. They’re well-balanced and comfortable to hold, making long prep sessions much easier. I’ve used them for everything from BBQ to everyday cooking, and they’ve held up beautifully. Overall, this set delivers outstanding performance and style at a very reasonable price. Read more

This is a nice knife. It appears to be stainless steel since there has been no sign of corrosion. Holds edge for many uses but like all useful knives it will need sharpened periodically. Sharpens easy if you know how to sharpen a knife Read more
Knife looks good, but not hardened steel. Cuts just like any other knife. Read more
Wow! Sharp as heck! Be careful! Doesn't come with sleeve for storage which is the only bad thing. But it'll have a home in my bag anyway! Gonna be great for line work. No more bulky line knives! Great buy for price Read more
