The jacket is soft and light and comfortable, but I ordered the houndstooth and got the black and white zig-zag instead. I'm not thrilled about that, but I'll keep it because I need it for a trip I'm taking. It's also a bit big, but I don't mind because I'm large chested. Honestly, I'd order the houndstooth in a smaller size when I get back in October, but I can't be sure I'd get it and not another zig-zag, so unless I can get an assurance, I probably won't. I was a little apprehensive because of the low price and one customer's comment that the jacket "looked cheap," but I'm so glad I bought it. The quality is as good as garments 3 times the price, and it's cute and versatile besides. It's a cross between a jacket and a sweater, which I'll wear with jeans and dress pants probably year-round. The sleeves aren't really ruched, but they're snug enough that I can push them up to 3/4 length and they'll stay. Several comments suggested going up a size, which I did, and the fit is perfect. My only regret, and this is entirely on me, is that I took a chance on the black and white houndstooth check, knowing that it probably wouldn't look good on me. It's adorable, but while it looks great on the tall, thin model in the picture, it definitely doesn't flatter my short, top-heavy frame. So I'm exchanging it for a solid color - or maybe a couple.
