Since this is a man’s shaving cream, I passed it to my husband for testing. He is old-school to the core and uses standard drug-store shaving foams, and this is his first time trying a higher-end shaving cream. He described this cream as being decent [that’s a thumbs up for him] and said that it wasn’t drying to his skin. He also commented that he didn’t really miss the foam, which he feels is pretty messy. Regarding his shaving experience, he said that overall it was as good as the foaming brand. Neither of us could detect any scent, and I personally tried it on my legs, and it left them smooth and soft. His only complaint was regarding the price vs drugstore foams. This is my second product from HygieneLab and I can genuinely say that I am very satisfied with this shaving cream. I think these products are marketed for men, but I am enjoying these products as a woman. This company produces clean products, which is wonderful for someone who is environmentally conscious. I often have difficulty finding shaving creams that don't have a load of chemicals and overpowering scents. This product meets all of my needs. Not only does it have a nice clean "scent", it gives me a smooth shave without having to use half the tube in one go. I have sensitive skin, so this shaving cream is a breath of fresh air. I have used it 3 times and I have not had and bumps, cuts, or aftershave rashes. A lot of shaving creams offer a moisturizing element but also cause body acne. I have not had one unpleasant bump while using this cream. I am thoroughly impressed. If a man can use this in his face, I'm content using it on my body.
