I used the provided metal tool to slide behind the existing weight, lifted just enough to slide the new weight in behind it, and then removed the tool. Bought these to train and do the Murph Challenge this year. It’s a great way to gradually increase your load, I added 4 bars a week. They fit perfectly in the hyper best I have. I must say that as you add weight the vest gets quite a bit more uncomfortable but I’m pretty sure anything with 25 lbs on you for a run would! As long as I don’t lose these, they will last much longer than the vest itself! Read more
Received 30 weights. All loose in no box. Regardless weight of product is inaccurate. If I had received all the weights calculated the total would be about 4lbs not 5lbs. Even if I got what I paid for this shouldn't sell for more than 15 dollars. I filled my vest full of rocks for 20 dollars and got 34lbs of weight out of that. I wish Id thought of that before wasting my money on this. Read more
There are only so many “empty slots” left in the vest to actually add in the weights, so I had to double up on some of the slots, which seems to stretch it out quite a bit and it looks like it’s going to be more prone to tearing. It still fits snug and I love my vest, but I don’t see me adding any more weights anyway. Which is a good thing cuz I think it’s a little too much $ for 5 lbs extra anyway. Read more
Great added bonus. At first when I saw the price I was under the impression that I was ordering 15-20lbs. Then as I read further I realized that it was only five pounds and I was turned off, then I read some reviews, watched some videos and I gave in and bought them. I am still getting use to the ten pounds and I intend to increase a pound a month. Read more
Rather than a sleek feel it looks very blocky with the weights doubled up. The pockets fit nicely with one weight, when you add the second they don't lay nicely. They don't fit side by side, so you are stacking one on top of the other, but the pockets are not snug enough to keep them stacked straight so they slide sideways and end up half to the side half in front. The fabric also appears strained under 2 weights in a pocket. I like the product, but I am returning the extra weights. Read more
I love this vest. I ran 3.5 hours in it, no problem, no chafing, and it has helped my running a lot. I recommend it. I don't know how well it will hold up, but I will wear it til it falls apart, then get another. Read more
