I purchased these because my old ones needed to be replaced. I had the same headset since 2021 and they held up so well, I purchased a new set! The sound quality slid really good and I never had any issues. They’re also very comfy on the ears. While I would like to have an actual mute button for the mic, the microphone can be muted by lifting the mic upwards. Overall, I could recommended these to anyone! Read more

For $30, this was a great buy for PC gaming. They are pretty comfortable and the mic functions fine. As is, they have a bass that is a bit too pronounced. The good news is that you can fix this on PC with the Auto-EQ feature of the free computer program PEACE for Equalizer APO. Indeed, if you have the patience to learn how to use these programs, you will reap the benefits of better audio with any pair of headphones. Read more

This is nice low budget headset. I used it exclusively for gaming on my PS5. Works out of the box not issues. I had an older HyperX Cloud Stinger headset and it was pretty good. But this one is better. It fits my head better than that older one did. And the volume dial is better than the slider. Sound quality on this Stinger 2 is good, and the mic works well. The flip up mic mute works well also. This is a relatively inexpensive gaming headset and great bargain. I would get it again if needed. Update: After using these for a while there is one thing that could be better on these. The pads/foam for the ear cups could be thicker. Over time I find that the inside is pushing on my ears. My ears do not stick out far from my head. I do wear glasses but most over the ear headphones don't do this. So, at this point I would not get these again if needed. Update: I have been using these a bit and would have to downgrade my original review to a 3 star. This might not apply to everyone but I have found that the ear cups are not deep enough. There needs to be a bit more foam so the speaker cover doesn't press on my ears. My ears do not stick out far from my head so I am thinking this may be an issue for others. Quality wise these are good and they sound good. Read more

Got it on sale for 30$. It has to be the best headset you can get for that cheap. Sound is great, my friends say my mic sounds just as good as any other mic, decent quality build even though it’s all plastic, and it’s lightweight. Only issue I have is the insides of the earphones are too shallow as other people have stated so after about an hour or two of playing my ears start to hurt a bit. Read more

This is the best $50 range gaming header there is, well at least compared to 8 other headsets I tested. The spatial sound accuracy is unmatched at this price range. Unbelievable sound performance. To top it off, the comfort is also unmatched. You can actually forget you’re wearing them. The clamping force is one the lightest I’ve worn and that’s a huge plus for my big head. The only negative about these is the microphonics. You can hear when you rub the audio cord or if it brushes against your shirt. You can’t hear this when playing a game though so I don’t consider it a big negative. Read more

SALE PRICE ISN'T A SALE: I bought these for $42.99 a few weeks ago. They inflated the price to $49.99 for Prime day, and are saying its on sale for $36.99 for 26% off. Save yourself the money and don't buy them. I bought these to replace my AMAZING Sades A7 7.1 Surround Sound USB Gaming Headset that lasted me 5+ years and for my Twitch Stream. These are ALRIGHT. The sound quality in the headset is good. The weight is good, and doesn't give me a headache or ear ache (which I am prone too). Its a BIT annoying how directional the sound becomes in these on FPS games, but good in other regards. The app it comes with isn't really special either. However the Mic on this is terrible. Its tin sounding, muffled and awful quality, even with adjusting the sound in OBS, playing with EQ and filters. The Mic on my Sades was SO clean, crisp, you couldn't tell it was a headset mic. This one however, just doesn't cut it. Plus the flip up to mute only works SOMETIMES and with some games/applications (sometimes on Discord, and doesn't work on OBS). People can hear and understand me just fine. ALSO this isn't USB so keep that in mind. Requires both headphone and mic jack. Its a shame because I love HyperX (Love my keyboard and mouse) and I took a chance on this headset for my Twitch, only to be really let down. I may try one of their stand alone mics as I've heard good things about those. (Send me one HyperX?) Its not worth returning due to the hassle of that alone probably costing more than they were. I'll keep them and use them for non stream things, or maybe gift them to someone who doesn't stream once I can get a replacement. Sound Quality - B+ Mic C- Read more

good headset for sound but the built in noise cancellation on the mic part of it is absolute garbage, my mic works only 10% of the time and is dull or low when it works. dont recommend for mic only for audio hearing. Read more
