I’m 5’4”/32” waist and these fit absolutely perfectly. Lots of material around the waist so they hang like hakama with the ribbon hanging down. The material is a staticky, soft polyester that tends to cling in dry environments, but it hangs down smoothly and doesn’t bunch up. The dragon pattern is embossed, not printed, so there is a subtle shimmer to the pattern. I styled these pants with heavy boots, a t shirt and long coat and I got compliments every time I wore them. As an artist I paid close attention to the motif, and I noticed The dragons are drawn in an atypical style, with round googly eyes (typical of Korea or Bali), a long smooth body with no flames (typical of Korea), and 5 toes (typical of China) — and no teeth, which might just be a stylistic choice, but is a fun detail. These are absolutely beautiful and seriously the most comfortable pants I own. Got so many compliments wearing them. Had to wait a little longer for shipping than I am used to from amazon, but definitely worth the wait. However I will say I got the largest size and if I were much bigger they would not fit in the waist. I am definitely at the max weight for these at 225-230lbs. I just washed them for the first time on gentle cycle and hung to dry and they washed up beautifully. Highly recommend these cool pants. Read more

Cute outfit but a little short. Im 5’5”, 123 lbs. got a small, runs about 2” short. Size other than length was perfect. Material was beautiful, style was perfect for a luncheon outfit worn with ribbed short sleeve blouse and Valero jacket. Too cute. Read more
