I've got to say I wasn't sure about this case until I got it on my Flip 5. Great case is an understatement. It protects an expensive phone while looking great, too. A couple of things: the belt clip probably works well, but I work in the woods a lot and wasn't too sure about keeping it clipped to a belt, so I ditched the clip and bought a holster. The clip comes off fine. Also, I found where the case goes over the volume button to be not always responsive when trying to turn the volume up or down. I recently chose to cut that piece off and now a really love it (use a sharp knife or a razor blade). It has taken a lot of abuse but the phone still looks brand new! Read more

I'm a person who likes to change the cases on my phone from time to time. With that, I bought a black version and the red version. They're amazingly sturdy and provide great protection. While they add a bit of bulk to the phone, it actually add comfort in the phones use as the fear of dropping a brand new Galaxy Z Flip 5 is terrifying! The cases are somewhat more difficult to install when compared to slim cases, but this isn't a bad thing. This mostly applies to the front screen portion of the case as you need to get it over the cameras properly. The hinge cover is an ingenious way to fully protect the phone. My issue with the phone itself isn't negative, but it is really slick and very thin so the fear of dropping the phone by letting it slip from your hands can be anxiety inducing. You get a really nice grip on the phone without it interfering with the phones use. The case is designed so you can easily access all buttons and even prevents accidental button presses. I didn't think I'd used the belt clip as I felt a huge flashback to the 2005 era! But once I saw how good that's cases looked and how well built the belt clips are, I gave it a shot and couldn't be happier. I now have more pocket space! My only gripe is, with this red one, it suddenly ended up with a chip in the paint near the bezel around the front screen. I know this sounds trivial and potentially unnoticeable, but I see it and it really bothers me. Will that stop me from using it, maybe, but it won't stop me from buying another. Its most likely due to the layering of the paint. All the cases start out as black plastic, then they get a silver/chrome layer, and finally painted the color intended for sale. I'm not usually one to leave reviews unless I'm really wowed by a product. However, I have to give credit where credit is due. I bought my case back in November and as of the beginning of August this year the hinge protector broke off. I contacted the customer service about the 12 month warranty and they literally had a new one to my house in three business days. It's not so much the fact that they honored their commitment to the 12-month warranty, but just the speed in which they did so. It shipped out Monday sometime and it came in the mail on Wednesday. On top of that it's a really great case, but I just really had to brag about their customer service. They were so polite in their response and super prompt in the delivery of my replacement. I think this is the third case I bought from this company but the first one I've ever had to have replaced within 12 months probably due to the fact that the hinge just wears out after a while on any case like this. I bought this case because I wanted a superior level of protection while also being able to carry my phone in a holster. The case is very protective and has kept my phone in great shape. However, the clip that keeps the phone in the holster broke not long after I received it. At first just one side broke so the holster would still hold the phone for a little while, but the other side broke later, rendering the holster ineffective. I reached out to the seller and received no reply. I was even prepared to buy another holster, I just didnt want to buy the whole case at a premium rate again. I will probably be going back to otter Box in the future for cases. They are expensive as well and their products do break sometimes as well (after all they are plastic too). This is a large and thick case. It appears it will hold up well. I got it to replace a different magsafe type case with the ring on the back that only lasted 2 months. I doubt if I will use the belt holder, but time will tell. I like the hinge protection and the flip out stand. The case texture makes it easy to grip. Works well on the magsafe charger. Read more

Great case only issue is I can not use my wireless charger in car because the back flap holds the phone too far away to charge. Have to find a smaller charger where I have to fold the phone closed to charge or plug it in. Love the fit and finish, build quality, screen protector for back screen, and belt holder. Makes phone slightly bulky but still love the protection over the bulkiness. Read more
