Absolutely the best sunscreen on the market!

I started using this sunscreen at work after meeting the company owners at a convention and receiving some free samples. As a construction safety professional, I am concerned about sun exposure of our construction workers here in San Diego. Industrial Strength Sunscreen really lives up to its name! Because it is lotion-based, it rubs in quickly with no greasy or sticky feeling. The active ingredient, zinc oxide, is very effective at reflecting the harmful UV rays and it remains water and sweat-free for over an hour. I always keep a box of the individual packets available at the worksite for my workers and they are using it! I keep an 8 fluid ounce bottle at home and in my car at all times for my personal use. Absolutely the best sunscreen on the market and the only one I will buy or recommend. Read more

It’s expensive, but it works

I have been using this product often on for over 10 years now. It is an expensive product for the amount that you get, however, this is one of the few products that really works in the intense sun, especially if you are an outdoor construction worker. With a natural ingredients I don’t break out with a rashas I do with some sunscreen. This product minimizes, if not eliminates sunburn. Read more

Quality and quantity in one package, but lousy for face

I cycle, and I use a lot of sunscreen. This stuff is waterproof to a fault. It won't rub off, won't rinse off, it stays on all day. I can barely remove it with a shower. And it is such a large container that I apply it liberally without hesitation. But it is not very good for faces. To sticky, too greasy, gives me zits. Read more

Best product to help with arc burn!

I am a welder and from time to time I get arc burn from welding. I was so impressed with this lotion I use it every day at work. Now it works great if you tack or do short periods of welding. Welding for long periods of time I would have to advise reapplying a couple times just to be safe or lay it on thick. Being summer and hot af it sucks having to wear a welding jacket for simple welding. I now can wear a sleeveless shirt and not have to worry about being burned by the arc. I am going to push this product to my work to offer it to all welders. I doesn't have a very powerful scent and goes on like regular sun screen. I strongly recommend this product! Read more

Expired?

From what I understand chemical sunscreens active ingredients have a one year shelf life. This sunscreen/sunblock is both chemical sunscreen and physical sunblock. When it arrived I noticed the sunscreen expired 8/2013 and the date I received it was 8/5/2013. So, it expired 5 days before I received it technically. The expiration of the sunblock portion, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, didn't worry me because they shouldn't change with time. However, seed and nut oils turn rancid in less than a year and who knows what the chemicals in sunscreens could morph into. It's bad enough, after years on the market, doctors have discovered that women using chemical sunscreens that had a male baby had low birth weights and small testis. I know there are hormones in everything from our water to our food but the sunscreen chemicals have recently been found to cause hormone/endocrine changes. The chemicals might just become inactive. That might be a good thing since it contained both physical and chemical agents, but I didn't want to take a chance. That stuff usually smells bad enough without rancid oil or cream. Read more

Hard on pool filters

A little thick and doesn’t rub in great but it does provide solid coverage. Good price for what it is. Used all summer. Would use something else if for the pool as this stuff is hard on filters. Read more
