Works like a charm. Makes great ice cream with any mix-ins you want and nothing you don't. Store bought ice cream doesn't let you choose what it's made of or where those ingredients came from. Worth every penny to me because of that freedom. It's fairly easy to set up- you need to take the time to freeze the bowl and then wait for it to churn the ice cream (can take about 30 minutes). It makes enough ice cream for a few people to enjoy and have some left over for later. I just keep the bowl in my freezer until we're out of ice cream and we need to make more. The first recipe I made took so long to make and I was supposed to chill it for an hour before putting it in this icecream bowl. I didn't do that so it was like a milk shake after an hour of mixing. This second batch I show, I used a simple recipe and it turned out perfect. I used 2 cans coconut milk, half a cup of maple syrup, 2 tbls of vanilla, 1/4 c. of cocoa powder. It is fast, only took 20 min. I've been on an aip diet for a while and reinterducing foods little at a time. So mainly paleo/gluten free now, so this is nice to have since it's hard to get something at a fast food restaurant. This bowl is simple to figure out how to put it on.
