Great camera. No issues with image quality. Fits well and easily mounts on top of my monitor. I don't use the mic capabilities as I have a Rode mic instead, but love the 'eye contact' concept and am able to put the camera right where my PowerPoint previews are, so I'm looking right at the audience as I reference my notes. I spend most of my day on video calls and this camera completely changed how I show up on screen. The eye contact correction is genuinely impressive. I can look at my screen, read notes, or glance at the chat and it still looks like I'm making direct eye contact with the person I'm talking to. People have actually commented that I seem more engaged and present in meetings since I started using it. The 4K image quality is sharp and clean. Colors look natural, not blown out or overly saturated like some webcams I've tried. Low light performance is solid too. My home office doesn't have the best lighting and I still look clear without that grainy washed out look you get from cheaper cameras. Setup was plug and play. No drivers, no fiddling with settings just to get a decent picture. It worked immediately with Zoom, Google Meet, and Slack huddles without any issues. The build quality feels premium and the mount is sturdy enough that it sits securely on my monitor without sliding around. It's a small thing but after dealing with flimsy webcam clips in the past, I appreciate it. If you do any amount of video calling for work, this is worth every dollar. Alright, it’s sort of sad that no good options exist to fix eye contact issues when using a monitor. Your options are this, then the plexi something which is a fancy plastic thing for $150 or get a tripod or something which does not work for zoom calls. That said here is the good and not so good about this. The camera is not Logitech! First it is an average camera equivalent to a $50 cheap camera. It’s no Brio. However it is good enough for general meetings. Not great if you are a content creator. I recommend getting the plexi something and get a high quality Logitech camera. But it works and is not obstructive when working on a monitor. Well you get used to it. It’s better than the plexi something. It is low profile enough to not be super buggy. There is no lens cover, but you can buy one from their website site for $8. Why? Well they know you will so they can charge for it. The camera arm does not adjust. So you will need to change the height of your monitor. Really? Yes. Maybe in the next version. When folded up, the camera does not swivel which means your video is vertical. Some conference apps allow you to fix that, however it seems you are on your iPhone as it is no longer wide length. On windows you can use apps such as Camo to fix that. But seriously why not let it swivel? Overall, it works and does what it is supposed do. But for this price these basics should have been fixed along with a better quality camera. Let’s hope they can fix it in v2 or Logitech comes out with this obvious feature. Or Zoom or Google can figure out how to use AI to fix eye contact / panning in real time on commodity laptops. Until then this is good enough, just does not feel worth $190!!! Ps if you plan to use a usb hub or a docking station it is sort of buggy on windows. I have been looking for a camera that allows me to keep eye contact with the people on the other side of the screen. I work from home and use 2 monitors in a regular basis. I have 27'' monitors and a camera that goes always on top of the monitors does not help when on video calls. I tried using an arm to position the camera in front of me during the calls, but it would obstruct the screen. I tried a tower camera but it would do the same. When I saw this camera I decided to give it a try. I love that I don't have to move the camera from place to place, it remains sitting on top of my main monitor and, when I get on calls, I just pull the lens down and it is not intrusive at all. The lens is at my eye level and I finally feel like I am making eye contact with the other callers. This camera has great resolution and the picture is crisp and nice. The camera is a little longer than regular webcams but I am willing to put up with the size if it helps me focusing on the screen instead of the camera. The camera adjusts the picture to the light, which is a great feature and, teamed up with Microsoft Teams, it does amazing! I think it is worth what you pay for. I am really happy with this camera. I wanted to like the camera, I really did. Great idea, poor execution. Build quality need to improve. I have dual monitors and have a great backdrop directly behind my desk, but the camera mount is not able to securely sit on top of the two centered, which made it unusable. The USB cord also causes movement of the camera. Like others have noted, there's no way to know if the device is on. Flipping the arm to the "up" position does nothing more than rotate the camera, so no way to cover the lens. Setup was actually plug & play and it worked seamlessly with Teams when tested.
