Fantastic product
My old crock finally cracked after 40+ years.. so looking at replacement at my age with arthritis was a bit of a challenge I was dubious about this one because of some reviews but I have to say I love it 1 it's so much lighter than the heavier ceramic one ...I no longer have to struggle to lift it, to wash it or to worry about dropping it and cracking it 2 it heat up faster than the old one and the fact that I can actually brown my meat in it on my stove top is fantastic it's a huge step saver.. 3 I love that it's non stick easy clean up and the fact that it fits in the dishwasher better than the ceramic crock did 4 as far as any of the problem with burned food or cooking issues named in others reviews...well I have had not a single one...and I have made a point to cook a roast, a baked chicken, a lentil soup, a chicken and dumplings, a chili/macaroni, a cheeseburger Bisqick casserole and a crock dump cake...in the crock all with beautiful results so perhaps it's operator error not a product issue.. the money spent was the best choice for a great product from a reputable company I wish I could give them a 10star reviews.
