These shorts are wonderful! Incredibly comfortable - the material has a stretchy, almost soft feel. Most comfy shorts I've ever owned. I like that they are a little longer than average since I like to be more modest and not have booty showing. I'm 5'5", 115 lbs and the small fit comfortably - definitely not snug. I wouldn't say loose, but has room to spare. It fits like the average, off-the-rack small I'd say. Now for COLOR... the pictures seem to be all over the place! I originally ordered the cameo pink thinking it was medium wine/ purple. It really isn't purple at all. I'd describe it as a bubble gum pink. In my picture I compare it with an Old Navy pair I got and the wine color from this collection. In that pic it looks kind of purple, but if you see my other picture, it's probably more accurate to the true color. The mustard is more yellow than the Amazon pic, and isn't a true mustard - more like a golden or yellow green. Even compared to my picture, I'd say the true color is even a bit more golden. Army green on Amazon is close, although it almost looks like the sides are a bit darker than the rest of the shorts. This isn't the case. I'd say overall, the darker color on the sides resembles more the color of the shorts as a whole. It's a pretty olive/ army green that didn't show up well in my own picture. Wine is the most accurate color of the ones I bought - a little less purple and a little more red than pictured on Amazon, but overall... I'd say is fairly accurate. Hope this helps! :) Read more
I am a 5'9, 157lbs woman. I bought these in size Medium in the color Black. I generally go for more expensive brands such as Nike and Under Armour but have gotten these for such good quality and cheap price that they were definitely worth the buy. I thought the mesh on the side might be a problem for me, as I might wear underwear that are several colors and I predicted it to show through, but I can guarantee that the mesh is relatively opaque in the area surrounding the holes and do not show any undergarments. I have yet to wear them while I workout, but so far I would guess that they would work nicely as they are not too tight in any areas whatsoever and are extremely comfortable. Read more
I'm 5'5"/ 130 lbs and ordered the medium. They fit great at the waist and are comfortably loose everywhere else. I needed a simple pair of exercise shorts to replace a pair I lost (how does that happen?!) and for the money, these will work. The fit is less than flattering, but I don't plan on wearing them out in public so that's fine. The fabric is quite thick. Read more
Great shorts. Fit very comfortably and are a nice length ( I am 5’10” and have trouble with shorts being to short in length for my legs - these were perfect). Vey soft fabric. I love to wear these at work! Would be great gardening, workout, or swim cover up. Read more
Really like that the elastic is smooth and not too tight. The fabric is cool. Good backside coverage. The only thing I am not a fan of is the mesh side panels hang a little odd. The fact that these shorts fit comfortably supercedes this. Read more
I went by the reviews but I should have bought my usual small. I’m 5’5” and losing weight, coming down to 130lbs now. I had a baby a few years ago and can’t shake the little mom pooch so I’m always unsure of what size to buy because of that so with these short I read all the reviews and went with a medium. They looks pretty frumpy on me. They did resemble a smaller version of men’s basketball shorts so I didn’t love that. But I would have kept them if the sizing was better. I didn’t rebuy in a small but I haven’t totally decided against doing so. I like that they don’t have the lining inside. I did like the green color. Read more
I absolutely love these shorts! They accommodate a more pear shaped body SO WELL! They are the perfect length and super comfortable without feeling too bulky or having too much fabric. I do wish there was an underwear liner but they are long enough and have a good enough fit that it really isn’t an issue. I did try to order this brand with the liner and it is not the same fit so I returned. Read more
