This coat is beautiful and expensive looking. I purchased for a funeral. I’m petite (5 ft) and 165. This is the perfect coat and comes just below the knee so it should be perfect with slacks or dresses for my height. I purchased a large, black. It has a nice black lining, pockets, beautiful gold buttons and a vent in the back. The sleeve length is very good. If I don’t wear anything bulky on top the coat fits well. If I ordered the X-large I think the sleeves would be too long and the shoulders might be too wide. The fabric is very nice. I’m worried about the wool content and it will need to be stored carefully. It will be a good coat for my purposes since I will not be spending a lot of time outside in it. I cannot fully explain my love for this coat! I wasn't expecting the quality, comfort, warmth and style that this has! It's soft, fully lined and keeps me warm on super cold Wisconsin winter days. The pockets are functional and big and deep enough to hold things securely. I really can't say enough about how great this coat is. The price point is insane! I've bought coats from J Crew that were 5 times the price of this and not as good quality. I'm running back now to buy more in different colors. The absolute only downside is that the big gold buttons are a little cheesy looking but with this yellow cost, they're not super noticeable and even if they were, all the other amazing qualities far outweigh the buttons. I am 5 feet tall and 125 pounds I purchased the size small and it fit like a glove!!! I was so impressed!!! because I am petite. The only thing I needed to have altered was the cuffs on the sleeves.. for this price point, the coat is absolutely beautiful and completely lined which I was not expecting. This coat is definitely a five out of five and wore it on a trip to New York City and kept me extremely warm. I would not hesitate purchasing this coat. Read more
Updated review 3/3/26: The replacement pink coat just arrived, & other than the delivery driver leaving the package near the bottom of the stairs (a big mistake!), completely disregarding the easy instructions—to place packages in front of my door—the coat itself is perfect; it’s clean, includes extra buttons, & has its tags intact! Updating this review to 4 stars; would be 5 stars if delivery instructions had been followed. The original review from a few days ago (2 stars) is below: This coat runs true-to-size for me wearing Misses’ sizes 6-8; I bought a Medium in Pink, & it’s gorgeous—the 85% polyester 15% wool blend is sumptuous! What’s truly regrettable is that this particular coat will immediately be returned because of a lack of quality control & general “customer service”: Either this coat is a return which wasn’t processed properly, or it wasn’t checked for quality before being shipped out. See photos below: There’s a definite dirt smudge on the collar—unacceptable! Secondly, a button is missing, & there aren’t any extra buttons supplied to replace it or the smaller matching buttons on the sleeves. I trust that the seller sends me a perfect replacement, complete with at least one extra front button & one extra sleeve button, which is normal for every other brand of coat I’ve purchased of this type on Amazon & elsewhere! If these two flaws hadn’t occurred, this is clearly a 5-star coat for style, fit, quality, & thickness of material for winter weather. I was skeptical ordering a coat without trying it on but after going to many stores in my SC town there were no dress coats to be had. I’m so happy I decided on this double breasted blue coat as it’s fabulous! I tried it on for my husband and he said “wow, it looks great on you, where did you buy it”. The coat style is very fashionable and the workmanship is exceptional. The Size XXL fit me perfectly however, the upper arm sleeves are not roomy so wearing heavy sweaters would be an issue.
