I got them to set things down like keys and cups on a table and entrance. These trays are very sturdy and you could even use them to carry a couple of wine glasses I use them on my side table and I even place my drink in it when I misplace my sandstone coasters. I have not had to use it on a hot day, so I don't know how it handles when the glasses sweat and make the tray cold. I don't know if it makes the tray sweat. But if it does, ill go back to my sandstone. For the purpose of a catch all tray, they are great. They can even be used as a nightstand tray for glasses and water glass for example. I honestly can’t believe you get 2 trays for this price. I’m always throwing my jewelry on top of my dresser which has actually caused me to lose a beautiful little ring plus it is causing little scratches in the dark wood. This tray solves both problems. AND I can carry the tray to the bathroom to put my jewelry on in better light. I gave my daughter the other tray which she’s using for perfume. I love the color and the style! These are nice trays for the price. Surprisingly something actually as pictured and described by the seller. What the photos don't show is they have little rubber feet on the bottom to protect them from possibly rusting on surfaces should they get wet. I didn't know the lip would be as deep as it is. I'm going to use one for candles and the other on the counter for keys and whatnots. I originally ordered them for use in the bathroom. I thought they'd suit the decor because they're bronze like my faucets but they don't have the look I was going for. Read more
