This hand towel rack is very attractive, sturdy, and functional. Nice option for a hand towel in my kitchen. It's pretty sturdy and a decent weight. It's functional although it seems to be a tad bit short for my hand towels. Ultimately it's a good way to display a hand towel without just throwing it on the counter or dripping water down the face of my stove. Read more

We live in a manufactured home and did not want to screw or nail into walls unless absolutely necessary - and we did not want a towel rack of anykind on the walls as they are papered - and constant continual moisture would shorten the life and condition of the papered walls behind the towels. We have large countertop spaces on either side of our sinks and these are perfect in both bathrooms for our hand towels. We searched high and low for a free standing hand towel holder that was tall enough to accomodate normal sized hand towels and not just fingertip smaller ones - there was nothing to fit the bill in ANY big box or home improvement stores. They all came up an inch or so short, leaving towels to drag on the counter unless the holder was modified. These are tall enough that the towel hangs with an inch to spare on the bottom and doesn't touch the counter. Also to stabilize (that has been in prior reviews) and prevent wobbling of any kind we put 2 small felt/rubber self stick dots on the bottom of each side - they are perfectly stable - only complaint is that on one of the holders the paint job is patchy and looks touched up. Not the best but it will suffice. The base is wide and built such that it will give the product stability. I just got it so haven't tested it fully but don't believe it will fall over when you pull off the towel with normal pulling force. The base is uneven and rocks on my grouted tile counter. I thought it was due to the difference in grout to tile but it also rocked on the floor and desk as well. I have place a rubber gripper below it and that has prevented the rocking. Read more
