Ideus Insulated Tumbler with Lid and Straw 18 oz Stainless Steel Double-Wall Vacuum Leak-Proof Travel Coffee Mug Cup

This is my favorite cup. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe, fits in even the small car cup holders, fits in my bike cup holder and doesn't spill with either lid( as long as I remove the straw). I've been using is for months almost every day and put it to the test with stainable drinks and banging it around. It's not only held up, it still looks brand new. ONLY GRIPE: the straw lid opening is a little stiff the first couple of times you put the straw in and takes some finagaling to get it through. It feels like its going to break. I love the cup and straw. It does leak sometimes so you cannot put in in a bag. I love the straw but the slicone is not durable and breaks. I have six of these, love the color, however, you cannot buy replacement straws that match. 6 cups, 2 working straws. Read more

I previously bought two cup holders from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TXD47T8). One for my Subaru Sambar mini-truck and one for my motor trike. I needed an insulated container that would fit my cup holders, preferably one that I could drink from using a straw. The Ideus 18oz. insulated tumbler fits the cup holder perfectly. It sits all the way down to the bottom of the cup holder. It has maybe about a millimeter clearance all the way round. It's as if the two were designed for one another. I got one with the Orange Tiger color. Great shade of orange, not too splashy (no pun intended :), but with plenty of visual "pop". I think it's a great color, but probably would have thought the same of the other choices. Build quality looks first rate, couldn't ask for better in this price range. Fit and feel are 100%: no sharp edges, no physical imperfections, screw threads are perfectly matched, lid tabs seal well, everything seems to be in good working order. For my needs, this is a 5-star product. Poorly designed, weak straw latch. IMO, there is nothing inherently wrong with the latch's design. However, its relatively small size and recessed position makes it susceptible to damage. Users should be careful when opening and closing it, if they want it to last. And if you're really concerned about breaking it, then don't use the small latch at all. Instead, use the large latch (the straw fits the sipping opening!). 2. The tumbler leaks. Agreed. This tumbler is about as leak proof as I've seen for an insulated tumbler with latch openings ... none of which performed 100%. (a) When cool air is introduced into the container of hot liquids, such as when taking a sip, the air expands when it is warmed up. If you close the latch before the air has fully warmed, pressure builds up in the vessel. Too much pressure and the container will leak. (b) Opposite for the container of cool liquids. If left standing for a long time, the liquid and trapped air eventually warm up. Warm air leads to pressure build up. Too much pressure and the container will leak. So, if you need a truly leak proof container, then get one that has a lid that screws or clamps tight and doesn't have any extra holes or latches. P.S. I got the 18oz size rather than the 14oz, because it gives me room for plenty of ice for a 12oz can of soda. Read more

I love this insulated cup! I wanted something that I could use a straw with and that had a lid so that at night I could take a sip of water without having to sit up in bed and take the cap off my water bottle. This fit the bill perfectly and it’s insulation is superb. Now, I also use it daily for ice tea since it holds the cold so well and I don’t have to refresh the ice often. One of the lids (the clear plastic one for just the straw) is very hard to screw/unscrew. I don't use it that lid anymore because of how frustrating it was opening it, good think it comes with different one. Otherwise, this bottle is just ok - keeps my drink cold for long enough. Read more

Might be the only tumbler that satisfied my needs. Doesnt leak at all (tried holding it upside down), just make sure to screw the lid super tight. Sturdy and beautiful design. Nice color. Straw works well. Has separate sip-on lid & straw-holding lid. The only thing I wished for was slimmer design towards the top. Other than that, keeps drink cold & hot for a long time and does its job. Ive had ice drinks and left it in room temp for almost a day and it still had a few ice cubes left. Read more

Good for small hands, easy to grip single handed. No handle, ergonomic shape. being wider at the top also means better grip. I was skeptical but it IS 100% dishwasher safe (I did do only top rack just in case bc other brands of this product are not dishwasher safe). I don’t intend to clean in the dishwasher regularly but it’s good to know it can stand that deep, deep clean when necessary! Keeps drinks hot, for a good while! I use a silicone drink lid with this mug that pairs perfectly. I found it also here on Amazon and it resembles a take out coffee cup lids, just silicone. I’d use the lids that came with but the silicone sippy lid is just simple, streamlined, and superior so I recommend checking that out also. Read more
