I really like this dvd player. I bought the smaller version and then this larger one and the larger screen is so much clearer. The sound gets really loud and can be heard even when other noises are around. I like the button to open where the dvd goes and all the buttons on the player itself. You can use a usb or sd card to play things like, an Amazon Fire Stick, and not just use dvds. The charge time was so quick. You can rotate the screen 180 degrees and lay it flat on the player to make it more compact too. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this dvd player. The media could not be loaded. I was able to watch three and a half movies on a full charge, which honestly surprised me. The battery life is fantastic for something this portable. The sound is great, much louder and clearer than I expected, and the picture is vivid and colorful. Super easy to use, and the purple design is gorgeous in person. Definitely worth it! Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is the second DVD player I have bought from this company and I was pleased with my purchase once again. Here are my thoughts: The company itself is fantastic to buy from! They mean it when they say they have 24/7 customer support and that they are happy to help with any issues if you reach out. This DVD player is certainly an upgrade from their previous/smaller model. It has many more media input/output options. It processes DVDs a little faster and handles scratched DVDs better (the old player basically freezes up and can’t get past a scratched spot on a disc). I love that I can use this with my projector and projector screen to have a portable theater anywhere I go. It is built tough. The buttons are clearly marked with their functions. The screen can be rotated fully and folded flat, providing a wide range of viewing angles if watching on the player itself. The picture is clear. The audio is LOUD (you can hear it just fine on the lowest setting). It comes with a media cable but NOT an HDMI cable. You have to purchase that separately. It does not come with a carrying case or a car seat mount, but those are available for purchase separately and they are very helpful. It also comes with a regular charger, a car charger, and a remote. The following are the only drawbacks (in my opinion) and they are very minor: - The screen feels HUGE compared to their 11” model. This is a plus if you’re going to take advantage of the fact you can use this as a monitor for gaming consoles. It would be an excellent size screen for gaming on the go. However, I bought this for my toddler to take on trips and it is too large for him to hold in his lap comfortably. The 11” model is much better for that. Again, I love that the screen folds flat to cover the buttons because it *mostly* discourage my toddler from pressing them lol. - We own a mix of DVDs and BluRay discs and I wish this device could play both. So I bought this for myself, not a child. I wanted something that I could have at my bedside or start in one room while I was doing my dishes. And then taking it in another room when i'm watching training videos, for example. It is about the size of a laptop and the picture does not do it justice. The quality of the video is very good. The sound is okay. But I totally feel like I got my money's worth. My only 2 complaints is I assumed it had bluetooth, but it does not. It did not say it did i assumed that it did. Therefore, if you want to use earbuds, you have to use the kind that plug in which of course I do not have. The only other complaint that I have is the remote control is pretty much useless. The media could not be loaded. I already owned the iEGEEK 11.5” portable DVD player and loved it, so I decided to upgrade to the 15.9” model—and I’m really glad I did. Screen Size & Picture Quality: The jump in screen size is the biggest difference. The 15.9” screen feels much more immersive and easier on the eyes, especially for long car rides. The picture quality is just as clear as the 11.5”, but the larger display makes everything feel more comfortable to watch. Sound & Volume: Both units have decent volume, but the 15.9” model is noticeably louder and clearer. It’s better at cutting through road noise. Battery Life: Battery life on both is solid, but the 15.9” seems to hold a charge slightly longer. Both last long enough for full movies without needing to plug in. Build & Usability: They’re very similar in layout and controls—simple and intuitive. The bigger one is obviously bulkier, but still easy to carry and set up. Both load discs quickly and play without skipping. Best For: * The 11.5” is great for younger kids or individual use. * The 15.9” is perfect if you want a larger screen for multiple viewers or long trips. Overall: If you already like the 11.5”, the 15.9” feels like a true upgrade. Bigger, louder, and even more travel-friendly. Definitely worth it. The button locations took some getting used to for my daughter because the "menu" key is on the left and the "ok" button is on the right. You can plug your Fire Stick into the HDMI port and power it internally by using the USB port, or externally plug it into a wall outlet or power bank.
