It is what it is and then some. The build quality was better than I anticipated. I place my frozen food from my freezer in it for my yearly clean out with dry ice. It held up way better than the current coolers that I have. Quality seems to be on point. It held it temps. way below freezing 32° F for close to 48 to 60 hours with the dry ice. I suppose it would do just as well with ice. I had more than enough room for most of my meats. Can't wait to use it on a fishing trip. Read more

Absolutely worth the money. We purchased for a food pantry we work at, we distribute food outside in the parking lot. Sometimes it's very hot. This cooler keeps meat frozen for several hours. I bought this for an upcoming event. I also bought 2 igloo maxcold 165 qt coolers from costco. If you shop at costco, 100% buy your cooler there and skip this one. If you don't shop there and you really need to get this 150 qt cooler from Amazon, buy the "Igloo Cooler Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Parts Kit" with it. Change your hinges and latches out with the good ones immediately and you'll be happy with this cooler. While the other huge white igloo coolers I bought also have plastic latches and hinges, they are waaaaaayyyy better that what came on this cooler. I don't intend to keep any of these coolers I bought after the event I bought them for. That's mostly because they're huge and I don't want to store them. They'll be going home with anyone who admires them enough to transport them home afterwards. I would be embarrassed to even give this cooler away with the latches and hinges that came with it. That said: I'm still giving it 4 stars. Other than the truly terrible latches and hinges it came with, this cooler is perfectly capable of holding a massive amount of beverages and ice. What I need from it is to transport 100 or so pounds of ice. Half of that ice will be unloaded to pack around a keg and the other half will remain in the cooler to chill a bunch of canned and bottled beverages. This huge white igloo cooler is pretty much just like any other huge white igloo cooler as far as being able to hold and insulate whatever you need to put in it. I know a lot of people who own huge white igloo coolers and huge white igloo coolers have provided me with many a beverage, plenty of ears of cooler corn, and even a place to rest my weary bones by taking a seat on the lid. I have no idea if their insulation actually lives up to the marketing, but if it does or if it doesn't, it's still really hard to go wrong with a huge white igloo cooler. Read more
