We recently adopted a four year old australian shepherd who had just been spayed. We also believe she has given birth within the last year, so her hormones are all over the place. She is morbidly obese and we have her on a strict diet, which means she is eating properly and getting the right supplements for the first time in her entire life, so her coat is a disaster. In short, she is shedding. A lot. I am brushing her four times a day and she is still shedding. Out of pure desperation I decided to try iGroom because I just cannot take the amount of hair our new family member leaves as a trail everywhere she goes. We paired the conditioner with the iGroom shampoo and even though we have been brushing her multiple times per day we were shocked at how much fur came out in the bath and during her blow dry. The shampoo was super easy to use and I almost think for a dog with a healthy coat the conditioner could be skipped because the shampoo is that nice. It is now three days after her bath and our girl is barely shedding at all. I have been brushing her just once per day and her coat looks and smells amazing. The first day her coat was super soft, (our other aussie's coat is still amazingly soft) but it has slowly gone back to being a little more damaged because it will take time. This conditioner smells SO GOOD and my dog's coat is the softest and shiniest its been since the allergies started.
