Perfect for Layering – Warm, Comfortable, and Lightweight!

I’m 5’1” and 114 lbs, and the XS in both the top and leggings fit me perfectly. The material is thin, making it ideal for layering under sweaters or ski gear without adding bulk. I wore the leggings under my jeans, and they didn’t bunch up or feel uncomfortable at all. Compared to Uniqlo’s HeatTech, this set is thinner and warmer, which is impressive. The quality is fantastic, especially for the price—it’s hard to find merino wool at such a reasonable cost, let alone a full set! They’re currently in the wash, but I’ll update with a picture soon. I’m already eyeing the other colors to add to my collection. Highly recommend for anyone looking for warm, versatile layers. Read more

Great quality, warm baselayer set

I was pleasantly surprised by this product, it's nicely packaged, the quality is great. Its very convenient that it comes in a set, so top & bottom. I put it on & tested it outside in cold weather & it does keep you warm. It layers well under clothes & doesn't add any bulk. Very soft 100% merino wool. Read more

Came here to order another

I wore these black Friday shopping and I got a little warm which is good because they’re for Alaska! Wore top and bottoms for two days (it’s all I could handle) and there is zero smell. They are really comfortable and fit snug but not tight. Read more

Staying warm and comfy in the Rockies!

Nice base line underwear. The wool is comfy against my skin and keeps its shape. The price is outstanding too. Why pay more for a small stick man on your cuff? The only thing I've noticed is that one of the two sets that I purchased is a bit larger but not significantly. I will wear them daily has they don't bunch under my top layers. I live at 9200' above sea level in the Rockies and I stay Warm and Comfy in this wool set of underwear. Staying warm in th Read more

Updated Review: Overpriced and Underwhelming – Not Worth It

I initially had high hopes for this Iguana Merino Wool Base Layer Set, but after spending more time with it, I’ve realized it’s far from worth the $88 price tag. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, but it’s also unacceptably thin, feeling more like a budget polyester layer than high-quality merino wool. For warmth, it falls flat—barely providing enough insulation for cool days, let alone cold ones. I’d honestly rate the warmth level at a 2 out of 5 now. The fit is overly snug, and while I expected some stretch, it’s uncomfortable and restrictive. On top of that, the slight itchiness I initially brushed off is now just plain annoying. Merino wool is supposed to be soft and itch-free, but this set doesn't deliver. Yes, it wicks moisture decently, but that’s not enough to save this product. For $88, I expected far more in terms of quality, comfort, and warmth. These thermals are vastly overpriced and underperform in every key area. Save your money and invest in something better—these are absolutely not worth it. 1 star. Read more
